Arcade Fire Included in Coachella 2022 Lineup

Arcade Fire was recently confirmed to perform for Coachella 2022 after its name unexpectedly appeared in the lineup today. Arcade Fire is set to play on Friday, April 15, from 6:45 pm to 7:45 pm Pacific at the  Mojave Tent.

A representative for Arcade Fire has revealed to Pitchfork that the band is performing during just the first weekend.

On May 6, Arcade Fire will be releasing their new album WE, produced by Nigel Godrich, Win Butler, and Régine Chassagne. The band has so far shared a song called “The Lightning I, II.”

Arcade Fire previously headlined Coachella 2014.

This year’s Coachella headliners are Billie Eilish, Harry Styles, Swedish House Mafia, and The Weeknd. This year’s venue will be at the Empire Polo Club in Indio, California, from April 15-17 and April 22-24. 

The lineup also features other known artists such as Phoebe Bridgers, Megan Thee Stallion, Lil Baby, 21 Savage, Danny Elfman, Doja Cat, Run the Jewels, Jamie xx, Carly Rae Jepsen, Vince Staples, Japanese Breakfast, Baby Keem, and Caribou, among others.
