After a week of spicing up the excitement to her fans, we already have the pop star’s first studio album in more than a year and a half – and her first major release from K Bye for Now (SWT Live) after wrapping up her massive world tour, Sweetener in December. 2019.
“This project is my favorite for many reasons, and I really can’t wait for it to be yours. Thank you for your love and excitement. It means the world to me,” she tweeted on Saturday (October 24) as she completed the list of 14 songs from the album leading up to its release.
With the midnight release of her new song “Positions” and the accompanying video clip, it seems to be heading towards the Oval Office — and the bedroom. The lead single from her upcoming sixth album, which would also be called Positions, featured Grande with her cabinet in a militant outfit while again crooning that she’d be “switchin’ thе positions for you / cookin’ in the kitchen and I’m in the bedroom.” Who says a woman slay both?

Ahead of the highly anticipated full release, Grande surprised the world with the first single (and title song) “Positions,” a passionate love song about, um, her flexibility to make a new relationship work. Hours later, it also released the White House music video of the song, which reinvents what life would be like with the pop star Ariana as commander in chief and features cameos like Tayla Parx, Victoria Monet, Nija Charles, and The Well-Mother. beloved of the pop star, Joan Grande.
“Positions” reunites Grande with thank u, next collaborators like producer Tommy Brown and co-writer Victoria Monét, as well as new collaborators in her camp like producer London on da Track and singer-songwriter Nija Charles (who also has co-written “Rain On Me”).

The singer has previously tweeted the 14-song Positions tracklist, which contains features from Doja Cat, The Weeknd (with whom Grande collaborated on “Love Me Harder”), and Ty Dolla $ign.
Ariana is not wasting time! Just a week after launching the innuendo-laden title track and presidential clip to the world, the superstar will be leaving Positions on Friday (October 30). The album will be the pop star’s first full studio since Thank U, Next in 2019. She has since released a live album from her Sweetener 2019 world tour, K Bye For Now (SWT Live).

Ari is no stranger to collaborating with her other artists. However, she hasn’t included any guest features on a 2018 album since Sweetener, where Nicki Minaj, Missy Elliott, and Pharrell Williams have made appearances.
The pop star with a big voice unveiled the Positions tracklist on October 24. The big-voiced pop star revealed she’ll be teaming up with both Doja Cat (“Motive”) and Ty Dolla $ ign (“Safety Net”) on the LP’s 14 tracks, such as en teamed up again with The Weeknd (“Off the Table”) for their second duet after the single “Love Me Harder.”
Before its release, Grande wrote that Positions was his favorite record to date “for many reasons.”
“I really can’t wait for it to be yours. Thank u for your love and excitement. It means the world to me,” she added.
