The newest Cardi B song is finally here, and it’s called “Hot Shit.” The single will be released this Friday, July 1.
The rapper announced his newest album with a commercial during the BET Awards and officially confirmed it on social media.
Invasion of Privacy was Cardi B’s last album to date, but she makes it a point not only with this song as a solo artist after 2021’s “Bet It.”
Cardi also notified Summer Walker and SZA after the release of “Bet It” for an extended version of “No Love.” She then joined her co-rappers from Bronx Kay Flock and Dougie B for their collaboration “Shake It.”
Cardi B is currently working on a string of collaborations with other artists. She has tapped Lizzo (“Rumors”), Normani (“Wild Side”), Migos (“Type Shit”), and Summer Walker (“Bitter”) in 2021 alone.
She’s already performed at the 2021 Grammy Awards, where she sang “Up” and “WAP.”
Cardi B is not only a successful artist, but she’s also continuing to expand her reach with other aspects of her life. In addition to being pregnant and giving birth to her second child, she had talked with Joe Biden before the presidential election and made a return to acting in Assisted Living.
She also held on to her commitment to her Bronx roots by teaming up with the New York City mayor’s office to assist in covering burial expenses for the families of the 17 individuals killed in the Bronx apartment fire on January 9.
