Mohammad Ali Choudhri, the Mind Behind Real Estate Giant Jetall Companies

Despite the growing accessibility of today’s industries and the plethora of tools and resources designed to help go-getters make a name for themselves in their target fields, some sectors remain challenging to dominate. The real estate scene, in particular, is difficult to conquer and not every venture and entrepreneur that enters it can come out of the other side successful. So it makes it all the more impressive that Mohammad Ali Choudhri, the CEO of real estate giant Jetall Companies, not only managed to rise through the ranks amid the competition but also continue the legacy of a company that has long held a foothold in the industry.

With over two decades of extensive experience and an in-depth understanding of acquisitions, disposition, joint ventures, financing, development, and lending, Mohammad Ali Choudhri has emerged as one of the experts in the field. This visionary, fueled by the mission to enable economic growth and employment through real estate development and value creation and provide solutions that support the changing needs of businesses, learned the ropes from his father. Years down the road, he now boasts a long list of accomplishments under his belt and the major achievement of leading the rise of Jetall Companies.

A family-owned real estate investment and management company, Jetall Companies was launched in 1961, commencing its operations in London, England. During the early 1990s, it dipped its toes into the American market, making considerable acquisitions in the United States. Eventually, this power player moved its headquarters to Houston and has, since then, enjoyed a position at the top of the game.

Currently the largest private owner of commercial office space in Houston’s Galleria submarket, Jetall is spearheaded by an impressive team of over forty employees and subcontractors. Under the guidance of Mohammad Ali Choudhri, the highly trusted company develops fully modernized properties with state-of-the-art features like fitness centers, destination dispatch elevators, and class A office spaces. So far, it has sourced, structured, acquired, and developed over thirty commercial retail centers and built over 250 high-end homes.

As a vertically integrated and experienced operator with active projects across the real estate spectrum, Jetall Companies is known for its ability to handle all phases of a project, from construction and leasing to property management. However, while it is inarguable that this competence in the technicalities of real estate development has allowed the venture to cement its reputation over time, it is also undeniable that the heights it has reached over time can be credited to its emphasis on creating additional value from buying or building assets and finding the balance between working in global and national markets and focusing on the needs of the local community.

“We understand that real estate is a business where local knowledge is key,” said Mohammad Ali Choudhri. “This is precisely why our largest real estate exposure continues to be in Houston, Austin, and other major cities in Texas.”

Without a doubt, Jetall Companies has secured a coveted spot at the forefront of the real estate scene. In the years to come, it is expected to keep its place in the limelight and expand its reach as an industry authority.

Dua Lipa’s “Levitating” Rises to No. 5 in Billboard Hot 100

Dua Lipa is blasting off. Following a record-breaking 29 weeks on Billboard’s Hot 100 tracks, the pop star’s iconic TikTok hit single “Levitating” is soaring to new heights, peaking at the chart’s coveted No. 5 spot.

Born on August 22, 1995, Dua Lipa is a model and award-winning singer and songwriter signed with the giant record label “Warner Music Group.” Before her grand entrance into the music industry, Dua already had a penchant for music.

Her father, Dukagjin Lipa, was a vocalist for the rock band “Oda” in Kosovo. With talent running through her veins and music playing at home, the young star knew that she would one day shoot across the sky as a world-class performer. Deciding to pursue her passion, she moved to London at only 15 years old.

Establishing herself as an artist was the tricky part. Fortunately, she took notes from Justin Bieber’s legendary rise through YouTube and jumped on the platform herself. Dua Lipa held nothing back and, soon, producers started calling her.

In August 2015, she made her official debut with the single “New Love.” At present, the track has accumulated over 48 million views on YouTube and countless streams on popular sites.

“At the time I was writing this song, it was about finding my place in an industry that often seems to neither want nor need you. This is a song about facing the fear of losing the only thing that matters to you,” she reveals to “The Fader.”

Following “New Love,” Dua continued to release several singles until she struck gold in 2016 with “Hotter Than Hell.” The track catapulted her to awe-inducing stages and was her first big step towards stardom. Then, in 2017, Dua Lipa released her self-titled album.

One of the songs in “Dua Lipa” was her iconic global hit “New Rules.” The song peaked at number 6 on the Billboard Hot 100 and spent a whopping 48 weeks on the chart, establishing the artist’s residence on the spot. Since “New Rules” had people worldwide filming by the pool, Dua has conquered the charts with “Don’t Start Now” at #2, “Break My Heart,” “IDGAF,” and “We’re Good,” among others.

Her single, “Levitating,” featuring DaBaby, is also one of Billboard Hot 100’s top guests, staying afloat for 29 weeks and counting. The fifth track of Dua’s latest album, “Future Nostalgia,” the song debuted as a TikTok dance craze and boasts over 459 million listens on Spotify.

“Levitating” first peaked at number 5 on February 6, 2021, before recently regaining the position in its 29th week. Outside of the Billboard Hot 100, it has also climbed back up the Billboard Global 200, currently sitting comfortably at #4.

Due to its impressive return to the Top 10, “Levitating” has gained the distinction of “Greatest Gainer” for Billboard’s May 1, 2021 week ranking – continuing to take the world by the storm through TikTok, among other platforms. With “Levitating” hitting the elevator button “up” and Dua Lipa producing smash hit after hit, it won’t be long before the music artist dominates new heights in the industry.

Experience love on zero gravity with Billboard Hot 100’s rising single “Levitating.” Listen to the “Future Nostalgia” track on Dua Lipa’s YouTube channel, Spotify, and SoundCloud. Stay updated on the young pop star’s future ventures and upcoming music on Twitter, Instagram, or her official website.

Chloé Zhao Makes History With Oscar Wins For “Nomadland”

It’s a historic win for Director Chloé Zhao. After months of shaping, filming, and editing her award-winning film “Nomadland,” the powerhouse artist takes home two Oscars and the distinction of being the second woman to bag the title for “Best Director” and the first of color to do so.

Chloé Zhao is a renowned and highly-respected director, screenwriter, and producer. Before officially launching a career in cinema, Chloé was already recognized for her filmmaking prowess and eye for detail with her 2010 short film “Daughters.” The movie premiered at the Clermont-Ferrand International Short Film Festival and snagged awards as the “Best Student Live Action Short” of the year.

In 2015, the director turned heads with her debut film “Songs My Brothers Taught Me” at the Sundance Film Festival and, later, at the Cannes Film Festival. Due to its authenticity and Chloé’s unique, compelling signature, “Songs My Brothers Taught Me” earned a Best First Feature nomination at the Independent Spirit Awards.

Although the trophy sat next to someone else on the trip home, the nomination was enough to lay the groundwork for the critically-acclaimed success of Chloe’s subsequent work “The Rider.” Released in 2017, “The Rider” follows the self-discovery tale of a young cowboy who struggled to get back up the horse after suffering a severe injury. Poignant and inspiring, the movie won the “Art Cinema Award” at the Cannes Film Festival and the “Bonnie Award.”

As “The Rider” scored multiple nominations, industry giants began to notice Chloé Zhao and her exceptional vision. On April 13, 2018, Sony Pictures Classics set “The Rider” loose and rounded a crowd of awed viewers and critics towards the talented director.

A few years later, “awed” would be inadequate. In 2020, Chloé Zhao returned with “Nomadland” and took the international film scene by storm. Within a year, “Nomadland” had captivated the global audience and drawn countless awards and accolades. Among its shelf of trophies lie a Golden Globe, Directors Guild of America Award, BAFTA, and last April 25, two Oscars.

“I have always found goodness in the people I’ve met, everywhere I went in the world,” Chloé shared in her acceptance speech during the 93rd Academy Awards. “This is for anyone who has the faith and the courage to hold on to the goodness in themselves and to hold on to the goodness in each other, no matter how difficult it is to do that.”

Making Oscar history, Chloé Zhao is recognized as the second woman to have won “Best Director” following Kathryn Bigelow for “The Hurt Locker” in 2010, and is the first of color to bring home the prize, along with the award for “Best Picture.”

Before winning the trophies, Chloé was up for nominations in four categories: directing, screenplay, editing, and producing. Having done all thoroughly and flawlessly – birthing the compelling “Nomadland,” nothing greeted the multi-faceted artist’s wins but warm applause.

So, what’s next for the celebrated director? After stacking trophies and raking in nominations, Chloé Zhao is warming up for a clean dive into the Marvel cinematic universe. This November 5, 2021, Chloé will be leading the star-studded cast of “Eternals,” featuring Gemma Chan, Angelina Jolie, Kit Harington, Salma Hayek, Richard Madden, and Kumail Nanjiani, among others, to theaters nationwide.

“Disenchanted”: Amy Adams Steps Into Life Beyond Happy Ever After

It has been over a decade since the world fell in love with the endearing Princess Giselle, played by Amy Adams, in the musical fantasy film “Enchanted.” Following a series of exciting news on the long-awaited sequel, headed by Amy’s reprisal of her character, it’s safe to say that “Disenchanted” is well worth the wait.

Released in 2007, “Enchanted” is a classic Walt Disney Pictures’ romantic comedy that follows the story of a princess from an animated kingdom searching for her prince in the busy streets of New York City.

Starring Amy Adams, Patrick Dempsey, James Marsden, Idina Menzel, Timothy Spall, and Susan Sarandon, the film is a veritable hit. Its comical portrayal of Disney’s adorably naive princesses, dashing princes, and evil queens quickly captivated its audience.

Through brilliant writing and the musical prowess of Alan Menken and Stephen Schwartz, “Enchanted” established itself as an indelible crowd-favorite. Amy Adams, likewise, became the apple of the public eye. For her seamless and heart-tugging performance, Amy gained recognition – raking in nominations for her role as Princess Giselle of Andalasia and bagging the Saturn Award for “Best Actress.”

Following the success of the Disney film, the award-winning actress kicked off her glass slippers and slipped on numerous lauded roles. Among the pieces that grace her portfolio are “Sunshine Cleaning,” “Night at the Museum: Battle of the Smithsonian,” “Julie & Julia,” “The Fighter,” “Leap Year,” “On the Road,” “American Hustle,” “Her,” “Big Eyes,” and “Arrival.”

Amy Adams has also gained recognition for her role as Lois Lane in the Justice League cinematic franchise. Her upcoming work includes “Dear Evan Hansen,” the TV mini-series “Kings of America,” and the highly-anticipated “Disenchanted.”

Announced last December 2020 by Walt Disney Pictures, “Disenchanted” will be directed by Adam Shankman and produced by Amy Adams, Barry Josephson, and Barry Sonnenfeld. Under their direction, the sequel is set to pick up the story a decade from the final frame of the first movie.

Its logline provides, “ten years after her Happily Ever, Giselle questions her happiness, inadvertently turning the lives of those in the real world and Andalasia upside down in the process.”

Since it was first revealed, fans had already been at the edge of their seats. With recent developments, they’re now in danger of falling off.

Apart from Amy Adams’ role reprisal, the production team has also revealed the return of Patrick Dempsey as Giselle’s true love Robert, James Marsden as the charming Prince Edward, and Idina Menzel as Robert’s former girlfriend and Prince Edward’s partner Nancy Tremaine.

Alongside this star-studded cast, Maya Rudolph, Jayma Mays, and Yvette Nicole Brown are also hinted to have joined the production. They allegedly will be reigniting the evil trails of the “Enchanted” villain played by Susan Sarandon and wreak havoc on an otherwise dreamy plot.

With all these names, it is understandable to be giddy with excitement. However, as the pandemic persists, the release date is yet to be announced, and further details of the filming process are kept under wraps. At present, the only thing confirmed is the movie’s premiere on Disney+.

The Weeknd’s ‘Blinding Lights’ Breaks Records to Become the Longest-Charting Song in Billboard History

Source: YouTube

Breaking records and setting a monumental event in music history, The Weeknd’s “Blinding Lights” reaches 88 weeks in the Billboard Hot 100 charts, a record that was previously held by the Imagine Dragons with their hit song “Radioactive,” which charted for 87 weeks.

A year before “Blinding Lights” officially set the record of the most weeks charting at the Hot 100, the song also reached another monumental milestone as it spent its 19th week at number one on the Radio Songs tally, which is another prestigious Billboard chart. The previous record was held by the Goo Goo Dolls’ “Iris,” which lasted 18 weeks. The song held on to that record for 22 long years until The Weeknd came and snatched the title.

Time and time again, The Weeknd has proven himself to be a multi-format genius. Prior to his record-breaking success with “Blinding Lights,” his previous projects have also garnered international acclaim. However, the radio success of “Blinding Lights,” which topped out at 26 weeks at number one on Radio Songs, was an unprecedented milestone.

The song manages to transcend multiple generations across different multimedia formats. “Blinding Lights” is more than just a radio song. It is a song with endless mass appeal and a special melody that is timeless yet also contemporary in its own right.

The song’s retro feel is a particularly genius stylistic choice as the single was released at the tail end of the relatively downtempo period of top 40 songs headlined by Billie Eilish’s “Bad Guy,” Halsey’s “Without Me” and Khalid’s “Talk” which were among the biggest songs of 2019.

“Blinding Lights” came at a perfect time as it helped kick off a trend of uptempo, retro pop hits such as Dua Lipa’s “Don’t Start Now,” Lady Gaga and Ariana Grande’s “Rain on Me,“ Doja Cat’s “Say So” and BTS’s “Dynamite.” The bright, synth-heavy arrangement of “Blinding Lights” worked alongside the songs concurrently succeeding when it settled in for its Radio Songs run in 2020.

The timing was perfect, and the song even more so. The Weeknd truly struck gold with his hit single, and the entire album itself is an absolute delight. Without a doubt, After Hours is The Weeknd’s biggest commercial success yet. It might be true that he had multiple number one singles prior to his latest album, but his current run has trumped the previous success of any of his preceding projects. His fourth full-length album, After Hours, debuted at number one on the Billboard 200 Chart in April 2020 with 444,000 equivalent album units, according to MRC Data.

“Blinding Lights,” released on XO/Republic Records, debuted at number 11 on the Hot 100 dated December 14, 2019. The song, which ranks at number 18 in its 88th week, hit number 1 for its first of four weeks on top of the chart back on April 4, 2020.

Over the course of its historic run, “Blinding Lights” has rewritten the records for the most time spent in the Hot 100’s top 5, which was 43 weeks, top 10, which was 57 weeks, top 20, which was 79 weeks and top 40 which was 84 weeks. It is truly the Weeknd’s era, and we’re all just living in it.

Prominence and philanthropy – these are the keywords that have led the stage names “Young Thug” and “Gunna” to numerous headlines worldwide. Following the hot debut of their collaborative album “Slime Language 2,” the rappers have been praised for their inspiring conduct.

Renowned figures in the music world, “Young Thug” and “Gunna” are some of the hip-hop industry’s biggest names. Individually, each artist holds incredible influence on the rap scene with remarkable discography, reputation, and following. This is why when “Slime Language 2” was hinted at, the world sat at the edge of its seat.

Young Thug and Gunna became professionally acquainted under the former’s record label “Young Stoner Life (YSL) Records.” Announced in 2016, YSL Records quickly established itself as a game-changer after signing “Gunna” as its first artist a year later.

Under the Atlanta-based label, Gunna released chart-topping tracks – gaining recognition for his unique flow and musical prowess. Following the success of his second studio album, “Wunna,” which debuted at Billboard 200’s number one spot, the rapper has returned to the recording booth with entrepreneur and artist Young Thug.

As an icon of the 21st century, Young Thug is accredited for shaping modern hip-hop and trap music. Since the launch of his career in 2011, the artist has recorded a string of unprecedented hits and continues to stay atop the industry.

Out of the 23 hard-hitting tracks and featured musicians on “Slime Language 2,” a handful has also walked its way into numerous rankings – establishing the masterpiece as an impactful celebration of the hip-hop industry’s most extraordinary talents.

Despite the well-received album’s continued rise to fame, it is not the main reason Young Thug and Gunna are currently being overwhelmed by praise. As “Slime Language 2” and its tracks make their way into the top 10 rankings, the artists have been helping individuals make their way out.

Last April 26, 2021, the generation’s prominent rappers posted bonds for 30 low-level offenders held at the Fulton County Jail. The former inmates could not afford to pay for themselves and had been apart from their families for varying periods.

Following a feature on the jail’s cramped facilities a few months ago, individuals have stepped up to help, and Billboard’s trending artists felt moved to leverage their platform for a good cause. “You never know what somebody has been through,” Gunna shared in an interview with WSB-TV Atlanta. “There were people sitting out three or four years and couldn’t get out on a bond.”

Young Thug echoed his sentiments. “If they did the crime, then they can do the time, then it’s all right, but it’s like you’re giving them a bond higher than what they stole.”

At present, the chart-topping rappers; donated amount remains undisclosed. However, they promise that this act of philanthropy is only the beginning. With the considerable influence that both stars wield in the industry, it might not be long before other artists start taking the initiative and strengthening a cause-oriented community within the hip-hop scene.
