Twitter might not like Chris Pratt these days, but he gets away with a little help from his friends.
If you’ve been on Twitter lately, you may have noticed that a particular high-profile trending celebrity: Chris Pratt. And not in a good way. Now his famous friends – and his wife – come to defend him.
After the ‘Guardians of the Galaxy’ star went viral this weekend as social media debated the less desirable Chris from Hollywood, Robert Downey Jr., Mark Ruffalo and other less desirable Hollywood celebrities, while the Pratt’s wife, Katherine Schwarzenegger shouted the” mean “challenge
Twitter users said Pratt had to leave because of his stance on politics and homosexuality that stirred up the heat.
According to a twitter user “Well, seeing as three of them are progressive, and one of them actively defends his church for being homophobic … Bye, Chris Pratt,”.
Downey Jr., who played the iconic Iron Man, defended the “Guardians of the Galaxy” star.
“What a world… The “sinless” is casting stones at my #brother, Chris Pratt… A real #Christian who lives by #principle, has never demonstrated anything but #positivity and #gratitude… AND he just married into a family that makes space for civil discourse and (just plain fact) INSISTS on service as the highest value. If you take issue with Chris, I’ve got a novel idea.”

Some celebrities did not like the response after a tweet popped up over the weekend that read “One has to go,” along with photos of Pratt, Chris Hemsworth, Chris Pine and Chris Evans, which led to much to say that Pratt could be tossed from the group known as the Famous Four Chrises.
The controversy about Pratt cited everything from his alleged supporter of Trump to a claim last year that Pratt supported a church with anti-LGBTQ views, which Pratt denied.
Some of his Marvel co-stars have come forward to defend him, that includes “The Hulk” star Mark Ruffalo, who tweeted that Pratt “is as solid a man there is.”
Ruffallo wrote on Twitter “I know him personally, and instead of casting aspersions, look at how he lives his life. He is just not overtly political as a rule. This is a distraction. Let’s keep our eyes on the prize, friends. We are so close now.”
His “Guardians of the Galaxy” co-actors Zoe Saldana tweeted a Tupac Shakur quote, “No matter how hard it gets, stick your chest out, keep your head up and handle it.”
She wrote “You got this @prattprattpratt Your family, friends, colleagues & everyone who’s ever crossed paths with you knows your heart and your worth!”
Robert Downey Jr. who is one of the big actors in the “Avengers” franchise with Pratt, Ruffalo and Saldana posted a photo of him and Pratt on set on his verified Instagram account.
Downey went on to say, “If you take issue with Chris, I’ve got a novel idea. Delete your social media accounts, sit with your OWN defects of #character, work on THEM, then celebrate your humanness… @prattprattpratt I #gotyerbackbackback.”
Pratt married Katherine Schwarzenegger, daughter of actor and former California governor Arnold Schwarzenegger and Maria Shriver, in 2019.
On the brighter side, Chris Pratt and his wife welcomed their first child together, Lyla Maria Schwarzenegger Pratt, last August.
