How Stina Aleah Has Helped People Struggling with Mental Health Problems and Demotivation

Sometimes, people face career-ending mishaps that derail them for the rest of their lives. But then one comes across a story like Stina Aleah’s, and we quickly learn that life’s setbacks can be glorious detours to more extraordinary comebacks. Accordingly, the self-taught artist is now on a mission to inspire others to overcome battles and build on mental health advocacies through her inspiring art.

Aleah is a visual artist who began teaching herself how to oil paint in 2015. Although each of her paintings depict a unique, striking concept, they all, in the artist’s own words, “stem from life experiences that really allow viewers to feel connected to the stories in which most people would feel alone”.  With every painting, show, and collaboration, Aleah seeks ways to challenge herself to create a piece that would resonate with the stories and experiences of thousands of others.

An artist must use their creativity to take the audience on an emotional journey. Stina Aleah merges her life experiences and masterful oil painting talents to leave audiences motivated and inspired with every work of art. She has had a vast array of clients from around the nation and world, and has also worked with major corporations, Emmy nominated television series, celebrities, galleries and exhibitions on various art projects. In addition, Stina has worked with Disney’s Marvel, Excedrin, NBA Influencer Program, Deva Curl, RAKE, Graffiti Heart, Condado Taco, Ingenuity Cleveland, Facebook, Collective Ventures, Florida Film House, and many others. She was also part of the creative crew behind Damian Marley & Queen Ifrica Music Video for “Trueversation” and worked with Miami Urban Contemporary Experience and the South Miami Dade Cultural Arts Center on significant projects.

Above all, Stina believes that creativity comes from within, using her personal stories, epiphanies, and realizations as the starting point of every piece. “As my life changes, my work changes with it. Every experience I have contributes to my artwork in some way,” shares the artist. “I am deeply influenced by human emotion and behavior. I love to use portraiture and anatomy to help bring my imagery to life.”

She is dedicated to infusing her art with images of purpose and hope, focusing mainly on mental health advocacies. Her work is full of messages that directly connect to everyone’s life experiences. She has made it her goal to help people remember that they are not alone in their struggles. The images of the paintings she creates, she hopes, will always remain as a constant reminder to others of the beautiful things in life.

In the coming years, Stina Aleah hopes to start taking other artists under her wing and mentor them to build their own successful careers in art. In doing so, she hopes her authenticity will shine through and draw other people to art. Learn more by visiting Stina’s website.
