It appears that Prince Harry has been making waves with his recent book tour and television appearance. His memoir, titled “Spare,” has garnered attention for its candid discussion of his experiences within the Royal Family and his relationship with his brother Prince William.

In his sole American television appearance on 60 Minutes, Harry talked with Anderson Cooper to discuss a range of topics, including the physical altercation with his brother and the tedious process of accepting the death of his mother Princess Diana, which reportedly included the use of psychedelic drugs.

“For a long time, I just refused to accept that she was— she was gone,” the prince stated. “Part of, you know, she would never do this to us, but also part of, maybe this is all part of a plan.”

Many have praised Harry for his honesty and willingness to speak out about his experiences, while others have criticized him for potentially causing further tension within the Royal Family.

Regardless of the reaction, it is clear that Harry’s book tour and television appearance have sparked a significant amount of interest and discussion.

Prince Harry has opened up about his struggle to cope with the loss of his mother, Princess Diana, in his new memoir “Spare.”

In an interview with Anderson Cooper on 60 Minutes, Harry revealed that he had a hard time believing that his mother was truly gone and initially thought that she had purposely disappeared.

To cope with his grief, Harry sought the help of a therapist and also turned to experimental treatments, including psychedelics like ayahuasca, psilocybin, and mushrooms.

The Prince Mourned

Harry emphasized that he does not recommend these substances for recreational use, but rather as a form of medicine for those struggling with loss, grief, or trauma.

He explained that the psychedelics helped him “clear the windshield, the misery of loss.” Harry’s candid discussion of his use of psychedelics has sparked debate and raised awareness about their potential use in treating mental health issues.

Prince Harry’s new memoir “Spare” has been making headlines for its candid discussions about his experiences within the Royal Family.

In an interview with Cooper, Harry revealed that when he found happiness with his future wife Meghan Markle, his father Prince Charles initially took a liking to her but his brother Prince William was skeptical.

Brotherly Strain

“It was a buildup of frustration, I think, on his part. It was at a time where he was being told certain things by people within his office,” Harry stated.

“And at the same time, he was consuming a lot of the tabloid press, a lot of the stories. And he had a few issues, which were based not on reality. And I was defending my wife. And he was coming for my wife. She wasn’t there at the time, but through the things that he was saying.

“I was defending myself. And we moved from one room into the kitchen. And his frustrations were growing, and growing, and growing. He was shouting at me. I was shouting back at him. It wasn’t nice. It wasn’t pleasant at all. And he snapped. And he pushed me to the floor.”

Harry also spoke about a physical altercation between him and William, which he described as a result of William’s growing frustration and the influence of negative press.

Harry’s memoir and recent interviews have reportedly strained relations between the two brothers. Despite this, Harry has continued to be open and candid about his experiences and has faced both praise and criticism for doing so.

Harry & Meghan

The new Netflix series Harry & Meghan offers a unique perspective on the tumultuous years that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have shared together.

The series covers their unlikely transatlantic romance, their glamorous wedding, and their controversial departure from the Royal Family. It also explores the modern history of royal media coverage and the long history of British imperial dominance.

Entertainment Weekly’s TV Critics Kristen Baldwin and Darren Franich have different perspectives on the series. Baldwin is a fan of the Royal Family, while Franich is more critical of the monarchy.

As they discuss the first three episodes of Harry & Meghan, they highlight the highs and lows of this unique self-documentary by the Royal couple. The next three episodes of the series are set to be released on Thursday.

Baldwin Opinion

Baldwin expressed her stand on the series.

First off, it’s important to note that the critic is a fan of Harry and Meghan and has supported their decision to “step back” from their royal duties.

She references the media’s investment in the couple’s existence and notes that they have chosen to turn themselves into a brand, Archewell Inc. It is not clear what the specific focus or content of the Netflix series is, but it seems to offer a personal perspective on the couple’s experiences.

Franich Point-of-View

It’s understandable to have mixed feelings about the decision made by Prince Harry and Meghan Markle to step away as senior members of the British Royal Family and pursue financial independence.

On the one hand, it can be seen as a brave and self-aware move to prioritize their well-being and that of their family.

But it’s true that their decision has led to them becoming more closely associated with the “oligarchy” of celebrities and the entertainment industry, which may be seen as a departure from their previous roles as members of the royal family.

Ultimately, whether or not one views their decision as a positive or negative development is a matter of personal perspective.

It’s important to remember that the decision was likely not taken lightly, and that everyone has the right to make choices that are best for their own happiness and well-being.
