Tayler Scharg Taking Over Fort Lauderdale’s Nightlife with 27 Bar and Lounge

Making changes always starts by taking action, and it often requires one or more individuals willing to walk the talk to make those changes happen. Tayler Scharg and his partner Corey Blank are two people committed to changing the social scene in their South Florida hometown, Fort Lauderdale, by establishing a well-known sports bar, 27 Bar and Lounge.

Inspired by the commemoration of famous icons who lost their lives at the age of 27, 27 Bar and Lounge has become many people’s favorite spot in Fort Lauderdale because of the fun, mental stimulation and ambiance it offers. As Fort Lauderdale natives, Tayler and his partner have ensured that the bar resonates with its patrons and lives up to the hype of the icons it commemorates. Within a few months, the bar grew astronomically and began to record staggering sales, cementing it as one of the top spots for people to enjoy themselves.

Achieving success with 27 Bar and Lounge was only the beginning for Tayler Scharg. He had loftier ambitions, and, seeing what they achieved with the bar, his hunger for more started to manifest into action, birthing more impactful establishments and ventures. With Tayler’s initiative, Fort Lauderdale, which used to have a relatively quiet nightlife, started bustling. People became interested in other things, such as commercial locations like the popular avenue of Las Olas. Tapping into this potential has given the city a massive mood uplift, and the residents love it.

“The vibe of 27 is iconic, which is only sensible since it was inspired by some real icons. Tayler does an incredible job of conveying a dope vibe throughout 27 that you won’t find at just any bar. From top down through the staff, everyone who works there makes you feel like you’re in the right place,” Beau Bucci said.

Tayler Scharg has launched other establishments that have given life to the residential area that Flagler Village used to be. His passion for development and industrialization has helped him manifest the dreams he has always had for his neighborhood and hometown. Since 27 Bar and Lounge and his other creative establishments, such as The Good Times Only Speakeasy and The Rose Nightclub, Tayler Scharg has secured his place as a leading figure in the hospitality industry.

Beyond the impeccable services that 27 Bar and Lounge, The Good Times Only Speakeasy and Rose Nightclub offer, these establishments also give their patrons and guests a comfortable ambiance with their unique interior designs and elegant setups. “The interior design work at all of Tayler’s establishments are unique and meticulous in the best way possible. Every detail from 27 to Rose and GTO is so carefully thought out. They all have such distinguishing qualities, yet somehow they manage to mesh so well together, it will blow your mind. When you walk into any of them, it feels like you’ve entered a portal into another world, and each one is like a great escape,” Cori Pappas said.

The umbrella company, TS Hospitality, has paved the way for other budding hospitality ventures. Tayler sees the next few years as the defining moments in Fort Lauderdale’s hospitality industry. “It’s so fulfilling to see all the opportunity that can stem from chasing after one dream and sticking with it until you realize your capability. I’m at a point now where I have hotel owners reaching out to curate new concepts and expand the empire my colleagues and I have created. I didn’t foresee this much opportunity when I first started out, but I couldn’t be more ready to seize it. Heed my words when I tell you that Fort Lauderdale is set for expansion, and the sky is the limit,” Tayler Scharg said.
