This talented artist from New Haven is blowing up the hip-hop scene with his catchy blend of smooth R&B, killer beats, and clever rhymes. Tone’s not your average rapper, though – he’s always pushing boundaries and showing off his versatility as a songwriter and performer. So it’s no wonder he’s got a massive fanbase that loves his fresh and diverse sound.

In 2020, Tone released his EP Colors, a conscious, spirited album that touched on the times. The album was well-received by both fans and critics, which motivated him to release two more projects in 2022 – Black Roses, a bar-for-bar rap album featuring battle rap artist Jus Cuz, and Long Way From The Eastside, a melodic hip hop/R&B album featuring R&B sensation Norman Perry. And that’s not all – Tone has more projects in the works for 2023.

When asked about his motivation to pursue music, Tone shared, “I was motivated to build my brand because while I was using music, writing my feelings and thoughts on records as an outlet, other people were relating to what I had to say. That motivated me further to start taking this seriously. Music got me through some of the hardest times of my life and was also the soundtrack to some of the best. If I can reach out to people in a way that they can digest and relate to through my gift, then that’s a whole other gift within itself.”

From a tender age, Tone’s existence has been steeped in music. He would listen, record, and compose music, with a knack for writing that excelled in his schooling. His father would often take him to the mixtape spots around Connecticut and Queens, NY, where he was exposed to the musical genius of DJ Clue, DJ Big Mike, Craig G, WhooKid, Kay Slay, Kid Capri, and other greats. Ironically, his first words were the catchy hook ‘Hey Ho’ from Naughty By Nature’s classic hit record ‘Hip Hop Hooray.’ Even during his high school and college years, Tone was already recording and releasing songs, music videos, and projects, and was fortunate enough to open for renowned artists such as Nas, French Montana, N.O.R.E., Meek Mill, Ty Dolla, and tour with Currensy and Chris Webby.

Tone’s music has a broad appeal, attracting a diverse range of listeners. He caters to both hip-hop aficionados of all ages and women who appreciate his R&B and soulful tunes that explore themes of love and relationships. Tone draws inspiration from an eclectic mix of musical greats, including Nas, Notorious BIG, 50 Cent, NWA, as well as contemporary stars such as Drake, Benny the Butcher, Westside Boogie, and Russ.

In addition to his thriving music career, Tone is also involved in the health industry, running a successful Seamoss business that helps people achieve their wellness objectives. He’s also collaborating with a group of designers to launch a new brand on the side. However, his ultimate ambition is to become an A&R professional, scouting fresh musical talent and assisting artists in telling their stories through their art.

Tone Eyeful’s future looks bright. In five to ten years, Tone sees himself as a superstar artist, jet-setting across the globe and sharing his beats with adoring fans. With his dedication and undeniable skills in hip-hop, Tone is bound to make a splash that will rock the music world.

Giorgi Okuashvili | The rising artist of Georgia

Music is said to be food for the soul. It truly is a way to connect to people irrespective of language, culture, ethnicity or race. Music transcends boundaries and reaches people with an ear for a particular genre. Amongst various genres of music, hip-hop and rap have the ability to touch your inner self. Rap allows artists to depict an accurate picture of society, highlighting various dimensions of human psychology and their deeds that people usually don’t talk about. All of this is done in an entertaining fashion so that the audiences can easily relate to it and at the same time enjoy it too.

In the past two decades, music has seen a rise in hip-hop and rap artists. With people starting from scratch, talking about their struggles or sharing their experiences from downtrodden places, rap has developed quite a fan following around the world. One such young artist who has started his journey in hip-hop and rap and is creating waves is Giorgi Okuashvili

Born in Tbilisi, Georgia, in 2000, the young musician is the son of a businessman and a Parliamentarian in Georgia. When he was young, his father moved to the UK to start his business there. From a very young age, his mother motivated him to start singing, as she soon gauged that he was quite inclined towards music and that he was pretty good at it. When he finished grade 5 of music school, he was well-versed in playing piano. Around the age of 14, he moved to London with his elder brother and completed his education at Regents University London. Moreover, he studied at Mander Portman Woodward, Ashbourne, and an independent Sixth Form College.

During his life in London, he met some street rappers and formed a bond with them. Back in 2016, Giorgi was still in college when he and his friends began working on a music project and released their first song, Trouble Makers. He soon realized that this was exactly what he wanted to do in life, so he built a studio and asked his friends to come and try different rap music as they were good at mixing words with metaphors. He then decided to start his own music label G Squad Productions. It was in 2019 that Giorgi traveled to Amsterdam in order to film his first music video. What sets him apart from the rest of his competitors is that he focuses on diverse production while featuring several artists from across the world. He is widely regarded for his electric style and has released seven songs until now that have received rave reviews.

According to Giorgi Okuashvili, his biggest inspiration comes from the legendary music artist Michael Jackson. “I started listening to Michael Jackson at a young age, and what intrigues me is the fact that it never gets old. His music is truly an inspiration for me,” he reveals, adding that he believes his music is refined because of his ability to listen to and understand people. There are a lot of people who have difficulty listening to others and empathizing with them. But his ability to do so has helped him as a rapper and polished him as a musician.

In this day and age, with loads of streaming options, where it has become easier for artists to showcase their work, it has also become challenging to be seen. However, the idea is to get out there and get noticed. Since he creates music from the experiences of people as well as his own, he has been able to strike a chord with the audiences at large. He understands the problems that aspiring musicians have to face; therefore, he helps other young rappers through his connections at different music platforms or helps them release their tracks through his record label, G Squad. In fact, he is all about promoting talent and providing them the space to be heard because he thinks everyone in this industry faces the same challenges. “There are many good and professional singers around the world; however, we don’t know them because either they don’t have financial independence or big record labels haven’t discovered them yet. Being a singer nowadays requires money to share your music or to promote it. This is where I come in and try to help talented individuals,” he states.

Giorgi Okuashvili is a hardworking and talented musician with his heart in the right place. He is geared up to release an album in the coming year with plans of introducing fresh talent through his record label. In a short span of time, he has notably contributed to creating a versatile music production environment and mastered rapping as well. He has worked on several featured projects with rappers from across the world, and his music is available on all streaming platforms, including Spotify, SoundCloud, and YouTube. With all these achievements and the constant support he provides to aspiring musicians, Giorgi is a rising star out of Georgia, all set to make it huge!

The Rise Of Rapper Joseph Morales, A.K.A Kakazi

These days everyone is familiar with rap music, which is an emerging branch of hip-hop that has dominated the music industry for the past couple of years. While many people still find it challenging to understand rap music, its fan following has increased rapidly. This genre emerged in the early 1970s at block parties in New York City. Since then, we have seen rap artists like Dr. Dre, Lil Wayne, Eminem, Tupac Shakur, Snoop Dog, and many more take the music industry by storm. In fact, they have proved their mettle and shown how versatile rap music is. And one thing is sure that many young and upcoming rappers are all set to carve a niche for themselves in this cutthroat industry. One name that has already started making waves is Joseph Morales, a.k.a Kakazi.

Joseph Rey Morales is a young American rapper with immense talent and incredible songwriting skills. According to Kakazi, he always felt inspired by music, especially rap. Coming from a musical background – his cousin being part of a Spanish rock band and his brother known as ‘Richie the Rhymer’ out of Houston, Texas – music was something that came naturally to him. “I never had any formal training for music and didn’t start rapping until I was 16 years old. For me, rapping was truly an inspiration and a dream,” Kakazi stated. He further went on to explain, “I saw it as a heartfelt conversation between the artist and his fans. This genre allows the rapper to share their life experiences, motivations, and regrets in the verses of their tracks, and that is so beautiful. Understanding the depth of rap made me fall in love with it even more, and I decided to pursue it professionally.”

It is no secret that many artists go for unique stage names that become synonymous with their success. Just like Eminem’s real name is Marshall Mathers, and Snoop Dog is an alias for Calvin Cordozar Broadus Jr, Joseph Morales knew he needed a stage name that would make him stand out from the rest. Initially, he adopted Kawasaki, but because a famous Japanese bike company already uses this name, it was taking the spotlight off of Joseph. “Ironically, I was playing with a toy piano that was branded ‘Kawasaki,’ and I liked how it sounded, but when I chose it to be my stage name, people always referred to me as the motorcycle,” Kakazi revealed. “I was not too fond of the fact that it reminded people of something other than myself. I was searching for another name, and once, I was freestyle rapping, and accidentally ‘Kakazi’ came out. I immediately stopped flowing and didn’t think twice about that being my permanent stage name,” he added.

Many new and aspiring artists look up to their idols as a motivation and inspiration for their art. They follow them and dream of being just like them. For Joseph Morales, one artist that truly inspired him, especially when it came to rap, was none other than Eminem. Talking about his idol, Kakazi shared, “Eminem is the rap god. I have always admired his versatility throughout the years. Like many, he, too, came from nothing and climbed to the top. Being raised in the slums of Detroit, he managed to showcase excellence throughout his career.” He continued, “From winning Oscars for his track ‘Lose Yourself’ to creating a jaw-dropping song, ‘Rap God’, where he shows off his incredible vocal skills. He showed me how we could have success through lyricism. His lyrics were always heartfelt, emotional and truly motivating. And that’s exactly what I want to achieve in my career.”

As for the problems that he comes across as an emerging rap artist, Joseph Morales stated, “Finance is a big challenge for young artists/musicians. Even though the internet has helped us get recognized anywhere in the world, it has also brought massive competition in the industry. There was a time when America was the king of Rap, and while this is still true, other countries have shown some good potential, making it even tougher to showcase our talent to the world.” Kakazi is of the view that young artists like himself need financial freedom to be fully creative with their work and that they require brand endorsements and sponsorship to survive in the ever-so-competitive music industry.

A passionate and hardworking soul, who is always determined to meet the high goals he set for himself, Kakazi is undoubtedly an inspiration for young talent who want to achieve success. In fact, his efforts and dedication clearly show that he is on his way to becoming the next big thing in the world of rap!

Emerging Artist Shawn2Hot on His Relentless Drive, Distinctive Artistry, and Upcoming Album

Undeniably, skills and talents both play a significant role in catapulting artists to the summits of success. However, in a highly saturated industry such as the music scene, having these abilities and gifts is not enough to truly make a mark. At the end of the day, the only thing that can distinguish a musician from the others is their deep-rooted passion for their respective crafts. In the case of emerging artist Shawn2Hot, it is shown that anything is possible for those who choose to be relentless with their pursuits.

On a mission to share his music with the world, Shawn2Hot taps into his creative flair while demonstrating an incredible sense of authenticity and originality. As someone who has always been passionate about his craft, he made it his lifelong goal to elevate the hip-hop scene and show how much of an impact his distinctive artistry can make. Today, he proves to be one of the must-watch artists in the hip-hop arena.

Born in Georgetown, Guyana, Shawn2Hot migrated to the United States when he was sixteen years old. Growing up, he listened to oldies, reggae, alternative, and rock music. However, no other genre made him feel the way hip-hop did. According to the artist, his introduction to hip-hop music was Snoop Dog’s Doggystyle album. Since then, his life has never been the same.

At the age of ten, Shawn2Hot started to write poems that eventually turned into songs. When he was seventeen, he began to make beats and dabbled in the world of audio production. This skill would help him kick off his music career, particularly in producing tracks, formulating melodies, and writing music without any professional training. The artist describes his style as thinking outside the box. His struggles of being in a poverty-ridden environment and exposure to violence as a child play a part in his gritty writing style and battle rap flow.

The first single that Shawn2Hot released was “Can’t Hold Me,” which was followed by his second single, “Lust.” The latter created a buzz in the underground hip-hop scene, currently reaching over a hundred thousand streams. The artist’s third single, “Into You,” was aired on Power105 together with his 6th single, “Right Now.”

Aside from creating significant waves with his music, Shawn2Hot is also known for being the brilliant mind behind Volcano Music Group, an up-and-coming record label that is set to revolutionize the industry. In an interview, the artist shared how he was able to come up with the idea of starting his very own company.

“Sitting around while waiting for a major label to pick my work up seemed like a pipe dream. I needed to take control of the situation,” Shawn2Hot revealed. “I then ran an online beat store which went under the name of Volcano Music. At that time, the motivation, vision, and resources were all accessible. I eventually decided to convert the beat store into a record label to be able to release my music.”

Shawn2Hot’s album, Volcano Music Vol. 1, is scheduled to be released on May 27th with features from StephG, Sabrina Foxx, Adrian Roxstar, Busta Rhymes, and many others. His versatility, creativity, and love for music will make this upcoming album a game-changer for his record label as well as the hip-hop culture in general. So much has gone into the making and publicity surrounding this release, and the artist could not be any prouder of launching the album independently.
