This October, the curtain lifts on a familiar firebrand: 7EVEN—the artist who paints like thunder and thinks like a monk—returns to The ART Channel in an exclusive feature presentation. His canvases remain unmistakable: vivid color, scarred textures, stories that bruise and bless in the same breath. He is here as he has always been—singular, uncompromising, unforgettable.

But October is more than one spotlight. Alongside 7EVEN’s feature, The ART Channel is widening its arms with a global open call for artists. This isn’t about competition—it’s about amplification. It’s about finding new voices and giving them a home in front of a worldwide audience. For the first time, painters across the globe have a chance to step onto the same platform that broadcasts legends. Not to be compared, but to be discovered.
The ART Channel has built multiple stages, each with its own rhythm:
- New Artist Development — A dedicated track designed for rising artists, focused on introduction and exposure.
- Specials — One-off showcases that spotlight bold work, breaking news, or cultural inflection points.
- 120 Minutes — A weekly two-hour block highlighting emerging artists from across the globe, carefully curated into a powerful, consistent format.
- The Curator with Palmer Winslow — A fan favorite, blending research, storytelling, and critique around artists doing something new, dangerous, or revolutionary.
If you’re selected, you may be featured in one of these sections—each designed to introduce your work to collectors, curators, and audiences who are ready to care.
What to send
Submit two of your best paintings—your choice. Add a short artist story: who you are, where you come from, and what you’re chasing on the canvas. Include titles, sizes, and current availability (for exhibition or sale). No manifestos. No gimmicks. Clean, honest, complete.
Where to send it
Email your submission to Artist@ARTchannel.app. Attn. Kurt A. Swauger, Executive Vice President of Programming. If you’re selected, you’ll be placed in the program that best fits your work—whether that’s New Artist Development, Specials, 120 Minutes, or The Curator. Wherever you land, your work goes global: broadcast through Roku, Apple TV, Amazon Fire TV, Android, iOS, and web streaming.
This isn’t theory. It’s distribution at scale. And it’s free.
The ART Channel isn’t selling exposure. We’re giving it. We want to be the marketing arm that artists can afford—the one that doesn’t bleed the budget dry but lifts it. We want to stand shoulder-to-shoulder with the very people who make us possible. No charge. Not low charge. Zero. This is our way of saying thank you for supporting the mission, and our way of giving back to the community that fuels us.

Why now? Because October marks a season of renewal. It’s the launch of Q4, the time when attention sharpens and audiences are looking for something new to hold. And it’s the month we welcome 7EVEN back onto the stage—a separate, singular feature of an artist who has already carved his place in the canon. His work is not part of this open call. It stands alone, just as he does.
But for everyone else, this is your green light. The ART Channel isn’t hunting for polished résumés or pedigrees. We’re looking for real. The painter from a farm town who still smells of turpentine and storms. The city minimalist whose whites speak louder than riots. The mid-career survivor who has learned to make beauty out of scarcity. If you’ve got a voice, we want to hear it. If you’ve got a story the world keeps missing, this is your knock at the door.
Success doesn’t mean selling out. Success means being seen. It means your work introduced to audiences who never knew your name, but who can’t forget it after they see your canvas. It means your story told with dignity and reach—no circus, no false drama. It means collectors, curators, and ordinary citizens opening their eyes, wallets, and hearts. And it means revenue opportunities most working artists never get a chance to touch.
A word about presentation: respect yourself by respecting your submission. Send files labeled properly. Light your images evenly. Proof your words once, maybe twice. We will return that respect—with timely responses, clear communication, and honest feedback. If we pass, you’ll know. If we lean in, you’ll know it even faster.
And if you’re thinking, “I’m not ready,” consider this your push. Art doesn’t get ready; artists do. Send the two strongest pieces you have today. Write one strong paragraph about who you are. List the titles, sizes, and availability. Then press send.
The ART Channel exists to help artists get recognized. That’s not a slogan—it’s a job description. We’re not looking for gatekeepers. We’re building a distribution portal that serves artists first. You keep creating; we make sure the world takes notice. That’s the deal.
October is almost here. The clock is ticking. 7EVEN returns, and so do you—if you’re willing to step up. Send two strong pieces, your story, your details, and email them today to Artist@ARTchannel.app.
This is your invitation… This is your moment… This is your green light.
Let’s DO this.
