Hitmaker Olivia Rodrigo, singer of “driver’s license” and “Good 4 U,” has announced a massive tour in 2022 of her debut album SOUR.
Kicking off in San Francisco April 2nd, the tour will go around over 40 major cities in North America and Europe. The show includes two-night runs at Radio City Music Hall in New York and Los Angeles’ Greek Theater, later wrapping at Eventim Apollo in London in July.
In her tweet, the Grammy-nominated singer-songwriter posted: “SOUR TOUR IS FINALLY HAPPENING!!!” together with the poster of her SOUR tour.
Rodrigo tagged Gracie Abrams, Holly Humberstone, and Baby Queen, indicating that the three will join her tour, appearing April 2nd to 3rd, April 26th to May 25th, and June 11 to July 7 respectively.
Tickets for the SOUR tour will go on sale this Friday, December 10th. Fans need to register via Ticketmaster as a verified fan. Further information is available at Rodrigo’s official website.
Rodrigo set records as she is dubbed the second youngest artist in Grammy history to be nominated in all of the “Big Four” categories in the very same year. She is up for seven nominations for the 2022 Grammy Awards that includes Record of the Year, Album of the Year, Song of the Year, Best New Artist, Best Pop Solo Performance, Best Pop Vocal Album and Best Music Video.
The young singer was among the most streamed in the music platform Spotify, garnering top spot of Most Streamed Album and Most Streamed Songs globally. She was also featured in the cover of Variety’s “Power of Young Hollywood” issue last summer.
