It looks like Kevin Hart is not done with pranking his close friend, Nick Cannon, after years of bringing the most outrageous shenanigans on the table, including gifting the comedian with a llama on his birthday and putting up his actual cell phone number on billboards across different states in the USA. But it seems like his latest antic is one for the books, surprising Cannon with a vending machine full of condoms as a timely Valentine’s Day prank.
While the joke was one that provided a good laugh for both comedians, the host of the popular reality singing competition The Masked Singer brought to mind how he ended up getting into quite the predicament with the mother of his children before Hart ultimately revealed himself as the mastermind behind the hilarious prank.
In an interview with Entertainment Tonight published on February 9, 2022, Cannon appeared along with Hart and their Real Husbands of Hollywood co-stars and discussed how the “baby mama drama” ensued.
“I still think me wrapping [Hart’s] face on my private plan is better than his sending me a vending machine full of condoms,” the comedian fondly explains, to which Hart had a rather amusing response stating that a vending machine full of condoms is a much bigger hassle to get out of a dressing room and takes up all the space.
“It’s all about complicating a person’s day. So how do I make your day difficult? That’s a beautiful prank,” Hart continued to chime.
Cannon then followed Hart’s statement with the story on how the prank had caused quite the stir saying, “And one thing that was brilliant about it, it was the mystery of it, because I had some baby mama drama. ‘Who sent you that? Who sent you that?’ So, I did have to deal with some real-life stuff, and then when he came out said it was him, everybody relaxed.”
Although the co-stars are known to prank each other all of the time, Hart’s prank comes in the wake of Cannon announcing that he is expecting his eighth child with model Bre Tisei after photos of their recent baby shower were circulating all over social media. On the January 31 episode of The Nick Cannon Show, the comedian shared to everyone that he and Brie, the mother of his child, are expecting a baby boy.
The host and comedian also added that Tiesi’s surprising pregnancy is part of the reason why he chooses to exercise celibacy for a bit.
“My therapist was one of the ones who said I should probably be celibate,” Cannon tells friend Angela Yee of The Breakfast Club in the January 31 episode of his titular talk show. “And the reason why is because I had shared that news about, you know, Bre being pregnant, and then I was like, ‘Yo, I don’t know what to do…’”
Cannon, who declared his choice to be celibate back in October, added, “I was trying to get a grasp. I was like, ‘I have a new show coming out,’ and then that was why I started my celibacy journey back then. So, for anybody who’s thinking, ‘Oh, he wasn’t celibate,’ I was!”
