Mona Niko’s artistic journey began in Iran, where she pursued her passion for art at the University of Tehran. After graduating, she embarked on a new adventure in Dubai. For twelve years, Mona contracted various art projects and participated in numerous exhibitions, leaving a significant mark on the vibrant art scene of Dubai. During her time there, she also shared her knowledge and skills by teaching painting to many aspiring artists.

From Inspiration to Masterpiece Mona’s creative process is a harmonious blend of inspiration and meticulous refinement. “I find my initial inspiration by listening to music and immersing myself in nature,” she explains. Starting with a preliminary sketch, she then continues to refine her work, allowing the piece to evolve into its final form.

The last event was on 1st of June in which she also showcased her own line.

Depending on the size of the piece, it usually takes Mona about a month to a month and a half from the first sketch to the final project. The Eyes: A Window to the Soul One striking feature of Mona’s work is her use of eyes, or sometimes the absence of them. “The eye is a very important part of the body in my sketches because it can convey pain and the depth of life,” she shares.
