Lil’One aka Lil’Reggie Using Music to Move Forward from His Past and Help Others Do the Same

Creating a future out of nothing is always challenging, and the climb to the top comes with rigors, misunderstandings, rumors, setbacks, and disappointments. Artists like Lil’One, aka Lil’Reggie, have had their fair share of all of those, and it explains why he uses music to get his past experiences behind him, discuss them and inspire others to become better.

As a Black independent artist, his lyrics and musical ideas have been deployed to change lives for the better. His mission as an artist is to change the narrative about himself and the troubles he’s been embroiled in in the past. The 29-year-old rapper is looking to get all of that behind him and play a part in helping other people attain heights they never thought possible. One song at a time, Lil Reggie is changing his story and leaping to greater heights.

Lil’One aka Lil’Reggie has an agreement with BWA and has done songs with Kevin Gates. His songs include “It Is What It Is,” “Atlanta,” “Going Insane,” “I Ain’t Wrong,” “Lit Up a Lot,” “Boss in His Prime,” and “My B*tch,” among others. He just released a sample track with artist Lee Banks called HRN(HotRightNow) on Spotify and YouTube.

“My music is for open-minded people who are eager to move forward and can relate to pain. I also offer something new to those who want to hear something different from mainstream music. I want to connect with those looking for music vibes to motivate them and help them get through their daily routine. However, above all, I just want to get ahead and help people get ahead in their respective life circumstances,” Lil’Reggie said.

Lil’Reggie works hard to establish himself as a notable musician. Despite ignoring nudges from his friends to take up music for a long time, he admits the decision to take heed is one of the best things he has done for himself. He has constantly maintained that his motivation to make music is hinged on connecting with people who struggle with similar problems to his. “I want them to know they are not alone by reaching out to them, uplifting and motivating them,” he said. He strongly hopes his music becomes a source of succor for anyone struggling.

Lil’Reggie hopes to continue thriving on the change he’s manifesting in his life while staying grounded and level-headed as an artist. He sees himself in a better place in the next five years as he keeps churning out impactful music year after year. “The plan is to stay strong, solid, and keep pushing no matter what while at the same time helping my audience stay strong no matter what they go through and stay positive because as long as you working for it, God blesses those who help themselves first,” Lil’Regggie said.

He sees no one as his competition and has declared his journey as a solo movement in which he’s focused on growing himself and nothing but himself.
