The renowned architectural designer Xianlong Deng is set to host his highly anticipated personal exhibition, “Crafting the Extraordinary: Architectural Visionary Space of Art,” at the Xu Peichen Art Gallery in Changzhou University. This exhibition, joined with Yuanwan Huang’s exhibition, which will run from August 26 to September 9, 2024, marks a significant milestone in Deng’s illustrious career, highlighting his original and extraordinary contributions to the world of architectural design.

Xu Peichen Art Gallery
The Xu Peichen Art Gallery, opened in 2021, is a testament to the legacy of Xu Peichen, a contemporary master of Chinese painting and a respected art educator. Xu Peichen, whose works have won multiple national awards and are held in prestigious collections such as the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, the Great Hall of the People, the National Art Museum of China, and the National Museum of China, generously donated 100 of his own paintings and over 50 works by other renowned artists to establish the foundation of the gallery.
Dai Guohong, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Vice President of Changzhou University, stated at the gallery’s opening: “The inauguration of the Xu Peichen Art Gallery at Changzhou University not only provides a new platform for integrating aesthetics and higher education but also creates an ‘artistic oxygen chamber’ for the public, where cultural enrichment can take place.” The gallery has become a vital cultural institution, hosting various exhibitions, workshops, and lectures, and serving as a bridge between students, professionals, and the broader community.

UPS Hub
Awarded the Silver Winner at both the French Design Awards and the NY Architectural Design Awards, the UPS Hub is the headquarters for UPS, strategically located in West SoHo, Manhattan. The project integrates a sophisticated logistics system with the corporate headquarters, showcasing a blend of functionality and cutting-edge design.
La Brea Tar Pits Museum Expansion
The La Brea Tar Pits Museum Expansion project, which earned the Gold Winner title at the London Design Awards, is a significant addition to Los Angeles’ cultural landscape. This expansion preserves the Page Museum while exposing more fossil collections on-site, enhancing the educational and historical value of this iconic location.
