Becca Brazil, the Brazilian Pop Singer to Watch in 2022

Music serves not only as a means of communication and self-expression. For artists of the past and the present, it is also a medium they can utilize to make a difference in the lives of others. Becca Brazil, a rising pop star known for her distinctive artistry and purpose-driven efforts, is among today’s promising talents. More than having her voice heard, she is currently carving a path toward the limelight so she can empower people and highlight the importance of kindness and compassion.

Currently based in San Diego, California, Becca is a relatively new name in the music scene. However, despite being a new entrant and amid the odds that confront those who have just entered the competitive industry, she’s gaining traction for her sound, relatability, and all-out attitude toward inspiring others. Her first single, “Hey Baby,” which featured the Canadian pop singer Adil C., hit the top 50 charts on Spotify – a feat that is made all the more impressive by the fact that not all musicians, including those who have been in the space for years, can bag this accomplishment.

The 32-year-old pop singer did not set her eyes on dipping her toes in the world of music from the get-go. Although she has always held a deep-seated love for the craft, she initially built a career in the field of real estate, her forte being in the AIRBNB industry. It was after she performed for the first time at her own wedding in 2019 that Becca would start embarking on a journey toward the industry.

As an artist, Becca is highly cognizant of the power of music. “Music sees no race, no color, no religion, no gender, no sexual orientation, etc.,” shared the Brazilian singer. “In music, we are all equal, and that is what I am most passionate about. It is not about who can sing better or who has the best voice – it is about how you make people feel and the lasting impression that you leave on others. We are not going to be here on earth forever, so it is nice that you can leave a legacy behind that can inspire people to feel so many different emotions.”

Her talents prove themselves. Her successful single, “Hey Baby,” racked up a significant 100,000 streams on Spotify, a striking entry into her blossoming discography along with her upcoming single, “Dirty Things” with TurnMeUpTone, which will be gracing the airwaves soon.

Armed with this intimate awareness and highly driven to wield the power of music to impact lives positively, Becca is bringing her A game to the industry, backed by the team of incredible women at Level Up Media PR, including Rachel Weaver and Rebecca Keselburg. She is also supported by her husband, Juliano Teruel, who serves as another source of inspiration. “As a professional athlete and coach, he has taught me how to be tough as nails and not allow anyone to walk all over me,” she added.

Being an artist hasn’t stopped Becca Brazil from succeeding in real estate, however, as the up-and-coming artist sets her sight on future developments in Brazil, with plans of building an AIRBNB community alongside her husband Juliano Teruel.

Becca Brazil attributes her inspiration to her parents, whose extensive support ranges from her father, Rob Tepper, who she co-produces their creative TikTok productions with, and her mother, Carmen Gomide, owner of the International Academy of English & Southern States University.

Right now, Becca’s creative efforts are centered on emphasizing kindness and compassion, using music to promote these values, especially within the newer generation. Through her story, she hopes, as well, to show people that absolutely anything and everything is possible if you want it badly enough and surround yourself with the right people.
