Hip-Hop Artist Crunch Talks Latest Single and Highlights Career Behind the Scenes

Although the music scene remains highly competitive and challenging to survive in, countless artists have managed to make a name for themselves and gain a solid foothold in the industry, thanks to their passion for the craft and strategic utilization of today’s digital-based platforms. However, while it pays off to take advantage of any platform that can help propel go-getters toward the limelight, it is still highly critical for both aspiring and established musicians to prove that they’re more than just the result of successful marketing campaigns. Above anything else, they must demonstrate what they can bring to the table. For Crunch, a multifaceted hip-hop artist, his talent at rapping has been palpable from the get-go. Armed with an impressive arsenal of skills, he’s currently livening up the space with his distinctive sound.

Known for his lyricism and flow, Crunch is a Los Angeles-based rapper, composer, and producer whose affinity with beats and rhythms shone through at an early age. Given his deep-seated interest in the craft, it didn’t come as a surprise when he started carving a path toward the forefront of the music scene.

“I was born to rap,” shared the passion-fueled personality. “Many are called, but few are chosen, and because I was given a gift, it’s my responsibility to share it with as much of the world as that will listen.”

In the time since he first dipped his toes in the world of music, Crunch has achieved numerous milestones, dropping four records and two mixtapes that showcased not only his skills but also his potential to become a household name one day. His latest single, “Twerk and Roll,” gave listeners a taste of what they can expect from the promising musician in the years to come. Considered the lead single off of his album Lethal, it was released for free to all major streaming platforms on July 22, 2021. On August 2, 2021, the track made another buzz yet again with the drop of its accompanying music video.

The heights that Crunch has reached over the years can be primarily credited to his artistry and discography. But it’s also undeniable that he’s impressed industry peers and expanded his network through his long-standing career behind the scenes. As comfortable behind the camera as he is in the spotlight, he’s served as the stand-in and photo double for Tupac Shakur in his movies, including John Singleton’s Poetic Justice, Above the Rim, and Menace to Society. Additionally, the rapper has graced Tupac’s music videos “I Get Around,” “Keep Your Head Up,” and “Holla if You Hear Me.”

Amid the growing saturation of the music industry, Crunch is confident that he will continue to stand out in the years to come. This talented artist, who is also an entrepreneur behind a clothing line, is setting his eyes on greater glory and aiming to capitalize on his reach and influence to enable success for other aspirants in the future.
