Behind the Mask: WISCO & Jhoni The Voice Ignite a Movement with ‘Stand Up’

WISCO, the rising artist known for his signature mirrored disco ball helmet, is proving that you do not need a recognizable face to make an unforgettable impact. His latest single, “Stand Up,” in collaboration with Jhoni The Voice, recently soared to number one on Amazon Music for several consecutive days and made a strong climb on the iTunes charts. The success is a testament to the song’s emotional power and WISCO’s growing influence across multiple genres.

At the core of WISCO’s artistic vision is a desire to let the music speak for itself. Inspired by iconic acts like Daft Punk, he chose anonymity to encourage listeners to focus on the sound, message, and emotion behind each release. “I want my listeners to focus on the music instead of the person,” he says. That approach is working. The genre-blending single mixes EDM, R&B, and Hip-Hop seamlessly while delivering a powerful call for empowerment and self-responsibility.

“Life is difficult,” WISCO explains. “There are many obstacles to overcome and it is so important to think independently to empower yourself. If you stand up for what you believe in and have the courage to speak that truth, then you are a shining light in the world.” That theme resonates clearly in the lyrics and tone of “Stand Up,” which encourages people to find strength in their voice and purpose.

WISCO’s partnership with Jhoni The Voice happened naturally. After hearing the instrumental, Jhoni instantly connected with the track and wanted to be part of it. The pair met in Miami, where they recorded both the song and music video during the same session. “It was wild,” WISCO recalls. “We were tracking vocals and filming scenes for the video all at once. You can actually see parts of the live recording in the video.”

The music video intentionally keeps things raw and intimate, capturing the creative energy of the studio and emphasizing the emotional honesty of the track. WISCO says the visuals help communicate the song’s core values without overproducing the message. “I truly believe the lyrics and song tell the story, which is why we decided to keep a more intimate setting,” he adds.

Only three years into his music career, WISCO is already showing signs of a major breakout. Guided early on by mentors in New York and Miami, he’s now finding his lane and shaping a unique sound that blends electronic, soulful, and lyrical influences. “After this record, I aim to grow and start putting out more music that really appeals to an audience,” he says.

“Stand Up” is not just a song. It is a message. It is a challenge to listeners to live as their most authentic selves. WISCO hopes his anonymity allows fans to see themselves in the music, not just the artist. “It is my desire that this song is a song of hope and empowerment for all people to live their lives as their true selves,” he says. “Stand Up is a rally cry for people to take self responsibility in their lives, speak their truth, and grow in love and faith from that transformation.”

With big goals on the horizon, including a possible pop collaboration, WISCO remains grounded in his mission. He is not chasing fame. He is chasing connection. “In the end, I just want people to listen to my music and enjoy it,” he says. “I will continue to empower listeners by creating an environment in my songs that will hopefully resonate.”

The journey has just begun, but with tracks like “Stand Up,” WISCO is proving that authenticity, creativity, and courage can still rise above the noise.
