The entertainment industry is rife with talent. Through the use of various streaming platforms, almost anyone can put out music nowadays. With the saturated market, it can be hard to find artists truly worth listening to. To help with this dilemma, we’ve compiled a list of the top 21 artists to watch for 2022. 

  1. Dua Lipa

Dua Lipa is a singer and songwriter who started out as a model. Hailing from London and born to Kosovar-Albanian parents, Dua signed with Warner Bros. Records in 2014 and released her debut album in 2017.

  1. Suzette Shanle

Suzette is a multifaceted artist. Her training has been a lifetime of experience. The combination of early art and writing throughout her life has made her success a given. Her positive outlook radiates throughout her work, first in her paintings and then in her most recent clothing line on Le Galeriste.

Suzette published her first book titled Suzette’s Daddy Issues. She wrote what she knew, making her first book fun and a tribute to her resilient family as they progressed through the decades of crime and violence from her many fathers.

After 30 years in the beauty business, she is enjoying her retirement with her family: her husband, a successful 3rd-generation farmer, and her son, 27, who completed his army service and is now working on the farm. She has been traveling with her children since they were little as her restless curious spirit looms. Her two teen daughters get to enjoy the ride.

She is now producing a television series titled after her book and finishing the script with a known writer. She is being represented by Brandon Blake at Blake and Wang.

  1. Drew Lines

Andrew D Wold (born December 27, 1984), known professionally as Drew Lines, is an American hip-hop artist and songwriter currently residing in Green Bay Wisconsin, with his wife Quinn and their three children. Drew Lines became the first hip-hop artist to be signed by Stryker Records, a label known primarily for releasing rock music. Though being the most recent artist signed to Stryker Records, Drew is no stranger to the music scene nor a stranger to the writing process that goes along with it.

In the summer of 2020 Drew Lines and Stryker Records inked a deal. That deal would bring future recording efforts to the Universal Music Group in Nashville by December. The Drew Lines singles “Rise” and “Love is War” would be recorded by multi-platinum producer, Malcolm Springer, at The House of Blues Studio. This past fall, “Rise” topped the NACC (US and Canada) chart at #18 as well as the M3 Radio chart in Brooklyn, NY at #1 in the hip-hop category and #1 on the “all genre” top 30 chart.

The latest buzz in the music world brings news of an upcoming track that’s sure to captivate hip-hop fans worldwide. Stryker Records released a Drew Lines hip-hop remix of the hard-hitting Saving Abel song, “15 Minutes of Fame” on March 11th. The song was produced by Malcolm Springer and Scott Wilson, at the House of Blues Studio in Nashville, and performances by Scotty Austin and Jason Null will be heard on the track.   1. Curt Cannabis

Curt Cannabis  is a veteran musician who entered the music industry as Curt Cannabis in 2016.  He released a few demos, which propelled his name to greater heights. In 2019, Curt recruited three legendary musicians to back him up.  Curt Cannabis is a high-energy, upbeat pop-punk rock recording artist that is captivating audiences across the United States and Europe.

Curt’s first release, “Monkey,” is upbeat with a video parody of ’80s bands. The 2nd release, “Falling Sensation,” is a single revolving around a colorful yet tragic story, delivered from a real life perspective. The song also came with a music video that garnered over 300,600 views on YouTube since its launch in March. The bass on the 2nd and 3rd EP was done by Riccardo Daga (from the band FANKAZ, owner of the Titans Lab Recording Studio), Brian Dinger was on guitar, and Matt Call was on drums. Both were recorded in Ferrara, Italy,  at Titans Lab Recording Studio. His 3rd EP “Sad but True” will be released in the summer of 2022.

Now a Curt Cannabis clothing line is in the works because the world would be a cooler place if we all wore Cannabis.

Karen Bassily is a 21-year-old model who has been published and featured on the cover of several magazines like Gmaro Magazine, Pump Magazine, Vigour Magazine, and MALVIE Magazine. Bassily is of Egyptian and American descent.  

The modeling prodigy was born in Cairo, Egypt, and is currently living in Laguna Niguel, California. Bassily has been modeling for over 5 years. She participated in a modeling competition called Miss Fashion Globale in Destin, Florida, where snatched 5th place. 

Recently, she was featured in a music video for an Egyptian singer named Ahmed Kamal in a song named “Makan El Amar.” The song is an Arabic break up song that was aired on TV in Egypt.
