For Violett Gaida, music isn’t just art—it’s therapy, connection, and transformation. Her debut single, “We’ll Be Gone in the Morning”, released recently in November, it is a bold and emotional entry into the music world, carrying the weight of a deeply personal loss.

Violett’s musical journey began with the support of her late boyfriend, who encouraged her every step of the way. Tragically, shortly after the song’s completion, her boyfriend died in a plane crash. “This wasn’t just a loss for me; it changed the way I see life. This song is my way of keeping his spirit alive,” Violett shares.

The song’s lyrics, penned with Grammy-nominated songwriter Matluck, are hauntingly prescient: *“Will you still be here when the sun is up? Where do you belong? Coz something tells me we’ll be gone in the morning”* These lines, initially written as reflections on love, now resonate as an anthem for those grappling with loss.

The accompanying music video serves as a visual representation of the emotional journey through the stages of grief, offering a poignant and deeply symbolic experience for viewers. Violett collaborated with a talented team of creatives, including visionary directors, cinematographers, and set designers, to meticulously bring her concept to life. The  video portrays the four classical elements—water, fire, earth, and air—as symbolic representations of the  emotional stages of grief. The narrative blurs the boundaries of time, with a mysterious figure moving  between the past, present, and future.

“I wanted to create a space where others could feel seen and understood,” Violett explains. “Grief is something we all experience in different ways, but at its core, it’s universal. This video is my way of expressing that shared journey, from heartbreak to healing.”

Every frame of the video is designed to immerse the audience in the emotional landscape of the song, reinforcing its themes of mourning, self-discovery, and eventual hope. The result is a visually stunning and emotionally resonant piece that not only complements the music but also stands as a testament to the power of storytelling through art.

Before Violett’s boyfriend passed away, she collaborated with acclaimed producer Chaz Mishan to transform her artistic vision into reality and to craft a sound that seamlessly blends Pop, R&B, and electronic influences. Their partnership resulted in a track that feels both modern and timeless, with rich, layered production that highlights Violett’s emotive vocals and heartfelt lyrics. The song masterfully balances themes of heartbreak and resilience, creating a sonic journey that is both deeply personal and universally relatable. This powerful debut not only introduces Violett’s unique artistry but also sets the stage for an exciting career ahead.

Before stepping into music, Violett’s modeling career took her around the world, teaching her adaptability and independence. Her work in NYC’s energy healing community deepened her connection to spirituality, which now informs her music. “I hope my music inspires people to connect—not just with each other, but with themselves,” she says.

“We’ll Be Gone in the Morning” is streaming on all major platforms. Watch the music video today on YouTube and experience a debut like no other.
