Up-and-coming musical artist, Avgusta, has put the spotlight on her after releasing her new single, “RIGHT NOW,” a testament to her pop prowess and multidimensional sound.
While she may not be a household name just yet, Avgusta is a veteran of the music industry and has the talent to prove it. Avgusta traverses genres, adding her personal touch to every musical style she touches.
From a very young age, those around Avgusta knew she was born for stardom. The loud baby became a vivacious toddler who went on to love musicals at age four. Soon after, Avgusta developed a profound passion for opera music, and, alternatively, pop music as well. At age five, due to a recurring illness, Avgusta’s family relocated to Austria, leaving behind the musicals of London that helped shape her earlier love of music.
After Avgusta’s cousin introduced her to the musical masterpieces of Lady Gaga, Avgusta became set on pursuing a career in pop. She went on to record her first session at Bravo Records in Georgia, where she covered songs by Christina Aguilera, Beyoncé, and Rihanna. By age 10, Avgusta had her first manager. By 11, she released her first single. Over the next few years, Avgusta would cycle through a handful of managers, not quite finding the fit for her talent.
It wasn’t until she turned 19 that Avgusta decided to pave her own path as an independent artist. With years of experience and connections under her belt, she decided to pursue music her way—pouring her passion into creating her own style, not what everyone else wanted her to be. Although Avgusta is managing herself at the moment, she remains open to advancing her career where she to cross paths with a manager who shares her creative vision.
Her new single, “RIGHT NOW,” released on September 12, 2025, showcases the strong pop side of Avgusta.
“RIGHT NOW” is based on the concept of moving forward. “It means I am done letting people in my life who clearly don’t have the right intentions,” explains Avgusta. “I am done giving 100 chances to the same people who walked over me. I forgive those who did me wrong, I truly wish them the best, but I will not be giving them any access to me.”
For Avgusta, inspiration can strike at any time, but not every inspiration makes its way into a song. “Honestly, it comes depending on my mood and mind,” shares the artist. “Sometimes melodies just come into my mind and lyrics which I record quickly on my phone before they fade away… I get countless ideas a day. It depends on what the idea is regarding. If it is a song, then I won’t know until I start to record it.”
What began as a simple idea in Avgusta’s mind quickly expanded. After laying down the initial track for “RIGHT NOW,” Avgusta sent the file to her sound engineer, Misha Komlev, who created a beat to fit the vibe.
Bright, upbeat, and fast-moving, “RIGHT NOW” is pop with an attitude. The single is both a
release and an anthem. Avgusta hopes listeners will feel empowered to walk away from the people in their lives who use them and to move toward their dreams.
Avgusta wants the world to know that she won’t be limited by one genre. Pop, pop-rock, alternative pop, hip hop, rap, EDM, techno, and more—Avgusta’s capabilities are boundless, and she’s here to show the world everything she’s capable of achieving. Avgusta hopes to inspire other artists by her openness to experimentation. She wants fellow creators to know that we are more than what the world wants us to be.
