“My work is characterized by the beauty of nature,” Elaine explains. “I draw inspiration from my surroundings and travel books, and my pieces often reflect that. Each painting is a journey, an exploration of light, color, and emotion.”

I love to paint things like pebbles, rocks, and seashells, injecting them with character using textures and colors,” she says.
Elaine’s personal life also enriches her art. When she’s not painting, she’s navigating the joys and challenges of parenting her toddler daughter, affectionately nicknamed the “Tasmanian Devil,” or enjoying hikes and restaurant outings in the beautiful Pacific Northwest. These experiences continuously inspire her work, adding depth and authenticity to her art. Elaine’s husband and she also run a successful online retail business, which they have managed for six years. This venture is 90% automated, allowing her the freedom to pursue her passion for art.
