Without a doubt, fashion models have become the epitome of beauty, confidence and glamor. Serving looks and inspiration to other people all over the world, the life of a model has become an aspiration for young women and men from different walks of life. However, behind all the glitz and glamor, the modeling industry has a dark side, unbeknownst to many people.

It takes a lot of grit to survive in such a treacherous environment, and only a handful of modeling professionals actually make it big. Severine Keimig is one such inspiring individual who has captivated the hearts of many people all across the globe with her beauty, charm, and intelligence.

Severine Keimig herself cannot stress enough the importance of self-acceptance and body positivity. “We live in an age obsessed with appearances. Each subsequent generation is exposed to more and more pressure to conform to a certain look, live up to an idealized body standard, and strive to attain an impossible perfection. The truth, however, is that our flaws make us special, unique, and individual. We come in all shapes and sizes and are not designed to look like homogeneous clones,” said Severine.

The renowned fashion model passionately champions accepting, embracing and celebrating oneself, and it’s a message she and millions of others believe in. Severine Keimig preaches this fact from the hilltops until the world sits up, takes notice, and finally changes its ways. “As someone who has worked in the fashion industry for five years, I am more than aware of the tidal wave of negativity that young people worldwide face about their body image,” said Severine Keimig. “Whether we like it or not, the fashion industry promotes certain idealistic looks and standards that can be damaging to many people’s self-image. Although things have improved in recent years, we’re still pretty far from where we need to be as an industry.”
