Drew Lines has begun to lay out plans in preparation for an eventful 2023 as he announces his next single, “Bangarang.” The song was recorded with Chuck Alkazian at Pearl Sound Studios in Detroit last month in September and will be released on January 6th, 2023 under the imprint of Stryker Records.

The linkup with Chuck Alkazian is not far-fetched as the American record producer from Michigan has built quite the reputation for the number of records he has produced over the years. In fact, Chuck Alkazian has recorded, mixed, produced and consulted for numerous artists in diverse genres. Some of the artists he has worked with include Royce Da 5’9″, Eminem, Pop Evil, Chris Cornell, Trust Company and many others.

Describing his experience working with the producer, Drew Lines said, “Man, going to Detroit to work with Chuck Alkazian was one of the best experiences in my music career to date. We got to the studio, and he pulled up, and we instantly connected. He is such a phenomenal artist, producer, engineer and, most importantly, a great human being. I learned a lot from him about a whole new area of this rap game and music in general. The thought, time and attention put into this single we created are incredible.”

“Bangarang” is a song that reflects Drew Lines’ life journey from the past to the present and the future. It features his close affiliate, Caesar Reddington, and together, they created a record that Drew is confident the world will love. Many may find “Bangarang” relatable, especially those who have seen a lot and experienced various feelings, from loss to hunger and other realities of life. “This song is about the ability to endure, maintain control of your dreams and smile through adversity. It’s about causing a stir, holding onto those dreams you had as a child, learning how to adapt and not care what anyone thinks,” Drew Lines said.

As someone who has survived multiple tragedies, from losing his brother and getting involved in a car accident, Drew has been at the deeper end of life and its realities. He tries to pass along his messages and learnings through his songs while he hopes to empower and inspire people. “Bangarang” marks a turning point in Drew Lines’ career as he got the chance to work with one of the world’s top producers, leading to more future projects together. “There is much to come from Pearl Sound and Drew Lines. I would expect an album soon,” Drew said.

While the world awaits the track’s release, Drew Lines continues to put work into his career with different appearances and shows all over the United States. He recently finished “The Borrowed Time Tour” in Fort Wayne, Indiana, on April 2nd, which he headlined. During the tour, he performed in many places in Wisconsin and stopped by Chicago, Kansas City and other cities in the Midwest. In addition, his two singles released by Stryker Records/Ingrooves, “Trunk Bags” and” Moments,” are also making waves among his fans.
