Rap Artist Hollyboi Sav Rightfully Dominating the Michigan Music Scene

Hollyboi’s childhood was spent immersed in music, and after cultivating that passion, by the time he was 16, he started recording professionally. Hollyboi Sav has been co-signed by many big-name producers and established artists over a career spanning almost a decade over various times. Often described as a rap prodigy, there is no stopping Hollyboi on his quest to become one of the industry’s most influential rappers. 

Yusuf Hedrington Jr, Popularly known as Hollyboi Sav, is a 25-year-old rising rap star from Liberia, a small city located in East Hollywood, Florida. Hollyboi was born and raised in the Virgin Islands, and he is no stranger to making music as he spent a large part of his childhood in the woods, knocking beats with friends for fun. 

Hollyboi believes anyone who grew up in East Hollywood would understand that it is no walk in the park, with numerous societal vices threatening his survival and development at various times. Now as an established act with growing celebrity status, he has dedicated his free time to motivating and donating back to the kids in his community whenever and however he can.

Described by colleagues and professional critics as a musical and rap prodigy, Hollyboi burst into the mainstream after years of experience in the industry’s periphery working with professionals DJs, artists, producers, etc. At the same time, scoring himself interview spots on numerous radio stations has earned him massive airplay and billed performances at events, carnivals, and live shows.

According to media reportage, Hollyboi Sav, despite his torrid childhood and the even more challenging upbringing he had, especially as a teenager trying to make ends meet and a name for himself, he never turned his back on his community, primarily via various physical and mental outreach programs for the people. A week ago, he and his team were giving out school supplies to kids in Miami, Florida, and this week, the plan is to feed the homeless in Broward.

He is fresh from the release of his latest single, “No Hook,” a certified Michigan club banger that has been judged as a different sound to what Hollyboi is known for. The latest single is the introduction to the next phase of his art to artistry, where he is more deliberate about expanding his audience and making music across genres. 

In 5 years, Hollyboi Sav hopes to be a successful hip-hop artist with a global following as well as owing his independent record label.
