“Make It Right” is the first single to debut off of his new EP called Crossroads, which will be hitting the public soon. “I really want to showcase a more mature side of my music and get a little bit deeper content-wise. I think most of us are at a ‘crossroad,’ so to speak, with all we’ve been through the last couple of years. It would be great to use music in a positive way to inspire people to think deeper and make music that resonates and connects with certain emotions,” said the artist. “I’m also really excited about dropping some self-produced tracks as well and really showcase that side of me a little bit more,” he added.
“Make It Right” takes a turn from Denel’s previous joyful and upbeat tunes, introducing a more soulful side of him carried through deeper lyrics and emotion-stirring melodies. Denel officially dropped “Make It Right” on the 3rd of June, followed by an accompanying music video three days later. The video was directed by Alex Hargreaves and the video team Video Buzz.
