Volume Digital Founders Logan Simmons and Zach Conley on What It Takes to Make the Next Big Hit

There are no shortcuts to success, and Volume Digital founders Logan Simmons and Zach Conley know this fact all too well as they, too, worked tirelessly to build their full-service marketing agency. There are, however, countless strategies that music artists can employ to get maximum exposure and target the right audience at the same time. This is where Volume Digital comes in to make the seemingly impossible possible and help music artists, both old and new, achieve their career goals strategically. When it comes to making the latest hit in the music industry, the company knows just the right formula to make it happen.

Since 2016, Volume Digital has been instrumental in helping numerous music artists and their teams accomplish remarkable feats, whether they are releasing a new single, an album, going on tour, or mounting a massive event for music fans. Apart from its marketing services, Simmons and Conley decided to take their services a notch higher by offering artist development, branding, and overall social media growth. Their impressive network with industry executives has enabled them to leverage their far-reaching social media network to be able to work side-by-side with some of the biggest names in the music industry across the globe.

“It has never been easier to start a digital business and/or be an independent artist,” Simmons shared. “We have great accessibility to reach mass audiences and a customer base compared to any generation prior to us,” he added.

Simmons was only fifteen years old when he first set out to begin his entrepreneurial journey. “I was traveling the country with an uncle of mine making antique toy sales. Essentially, I’d travel and help host ‘toy-buying events,’ where we would buy inventory from locals in cities across America and then list them on eBay,” Simmons revealed. “These early experiences taught me the basics of both sales and online marketing. Additionally, I learned the life-changing possibilities of working for yourself and entrepreneurship as a whole.”

Meanwhile, Conley was doing very well as a digital marketing expert at the age of twenty-one, working with numerous record labels and helping them create a strong online presence for all their talents. Each time a record label signs a new artist, Conley would then come in to create a massive digital footprint that would make these artists hard to miss. In 2017, Conley sat down with Simmons to discuss entrepreneurial possibilities, and that single encounter proved to be the beginning of an exciting journey as they decided to establish Volume Digital.

With these two powerhouses coming together, it came as no surprise that Volume Digital became the go-to service agency for many clients coming from the music world. Among its key services are consultancy, playlisting, YouTube promotion, Instagram growth, SoundCloud promotion, influencer marketing, paid advertising, PR, graphic design, branding, web development, and e-commerce.

In the next five years, Simmons and Conley are looking at the possibility of offering music technology that involves self-service marketing automation systems that will leverage cutting-edge technology. They also envision giving music artists new platforms where they can learn to promote their own brands without having to rely on the assistance of traditional agencies.
