Y Manifesto Curatorial Collective Debut at ART SHOPPING Paris

December 2024 marks the highly anticipated ART SHOPPING art fair, held at the iconic Carrousel du Louvre in Paris. The event brought together exceptional artists and curatorial groups from around the globe. Making their debut, the Y Manifesto curatorial collective presented five groundbreaking art pieces created by six innovative artists, earning widespread attention as one of the exhibition’s highlights.

YManifesto’s participating artists represent a diverse range of creative backgrounds. They showcase works that span digital interactive installations, experimental visual art, and innovative expressions of traditional mediums. Among the standout contributions was a collaborative piece by Siyuan Ma and Andi Zhou.

Siyuan Ma, a Senior UX Designer at Amazon Alexa, draws inspiration from AI and societal technological shifts, exploring the intersection of technology and human values. Andi Zhou, a Senior UX Researcher at Amazon, focuses on leveraging design strategies to enhance human well-being. Together, their work blends digital and physical elements to investigate the blurred boundaries between human emotions and technology.

Additional participating artists include:

Yilin Bai: An acclaimed illustrator whose vibrant works delve into themes of consumerism, identity, and multiculturalism.

Mingyue Qu: An artist known for combining technology and design, specializing in user experience and interactive installations.

Yang Li: A photographer adept at capturing social realities, whose award-winning works have been exhibited internationally.

Jingwei Zeng: An artist dedicated to experimental installations and data visualization, merging art with scientific exploration.

Y Manifesto’s showcase centered on the theme of “Technology and Humanity,” employing a variety of mediums to capture the complexities of contemporary society. The collective’s bold visual styles and technological approaches invited audiences to reflect on the dynamic relationship between technological advancement and human emotions.

Shuyi Liu: A UX Designer at Round Feather Inc., Shuyi is an award-winning designer who has received accolades such as the Gold London Design Award and Silver MUSE Creative Award. Her design philosophy merges empathy and functionality, bridging the gap between art and design.

Yachu Feng: A graduate of Tsinghua University and IIT Institute of Design in Chicago, Yachu is a User Experience Designer at Round Feather. In 2023, she was recognized with multiple international awards, including the Gold London Design Award and Silver New York Product Award. Her expertise and innovative approach significantly enriched the exhibition’s vision.
