ZupaNova’s New Hit Single ‘ZupaLove’ Spreads Messages of Kindness and Unity, Alongside REMIX CONTEST

ZupaNova, the dynamic duo comprised of Rawcel Cooks, known for his songwriting contributions to The Black Eyed Peas, and Davy Brown, a multi-genre producer, recording artist, and multi-instrumentalist, has just unveiled their latest hit single, “ZupaLove.” This timely release aims to foster a global celebration of unity, kindness, diversity, authenticity, and positive impact while promoting love as a force that triumphs over hate.  

Cooks share the inspiration behind “ZupaLove,” stating, “We wrote this song as a reminder that each of us has the power to positively impact others. We hope that it inspires people to be kind, contribute to making the world a better place, and spread love wherever they go.”

ZupaNova has earned accolades as an award-winning music group, with their international success landing them on the US’s Top 40 charts of iHeartRadio Media. Their hits “Pop Pop” reached #41, and “ZupaHot” climbed to #38. Collaborating with International Billboard artist IAKOPO, they achieved even greater heights with their single “Don’t Think,” reaching #5 as one of the most streamed and downloaded songs on North American College Radio. The duo also had the honor of opening for Fall Out Boy and BTS during the New Year’s performance on FilAm TV’s “We Global New Year’s Eve” celebration.  

Recently, ZupaNova wowed its fans by releasing and performing “ZupaLove” at Mayfest 2023 in Southern California. Their electrifying performance on the main stage featured special appearances by Billboard artists Iakopo and Arii Brazil, as they delighted the audience with a medley of their top hits, including “Pop Pop,” “Don’t Think,” “Celebrate,” and their new single, “ZupaLove.”  

However, “ZupaLove” is more than just a catchy summer song; it has become a movement that is rallying support from celebrities, organizations, and musicians worldwide, all driven by a shared mission to spread love, kindness, unity, diversity, authenticity, and generosity to those in need. The ZupaStarz, an integral part of this movement, actively contribute to communities in need, as showcased in their official music video. The song celebrates humanity in all forms, embodying unconditional kindness, togetherness, giving back, and an unwavering commitment to positivity. Notably, ZupaNova recently participated in a project to feed the homeless in Los Angeles’ skid row district, an event captured in their music video.  


Excitingly, ZupaNova has just announced the “ZupaLove” REMIX CONTEST, inviting musicians to submit their unique remixes of the single. The first-place winner will receive $1500, a publishing split, and an official release from ZupaNova, while the second-place winner will be rewarded with $500, a publishing split, and an official release. The contest is open to submissions of any genre, with participants required to download the acapella from the ZupaLove DJ pack and upload their final remixes to their Soundcloud pages using the hashtag #ZupaLoveRemix. Additionally, participants should send a copy of their remix directly to ZupaNova. The deadline for submissions is July 1, 2023, and the winners will be announced on July 5, 2023, by ZupaNova.

As long-standing ambassadors of AMBITION.org, a nonprofit entrepreneurial program for underprivileged youth that fosters innovation, solution-driven thinking, confidence, and a positive work ethic through business, music, fashion, and collaborations with special guests, ZupaNova actively contributes to raising awareness and funding for disadvantaged youth. Their virtual benefit concert garnered attention from celebrity figures like Paris Hilton and power couple Tom & Lisa Bilye, who joined forces with local Los Angeles students to create a fun wave of selfie-style promo videos to support the program. 


ZupaNova shares the role of mentor for the AMBITION Foundation with other well-known personalities, including Richard Branson, Paris Hilton & Carter Reum, Brad Pitt, Jessica Alba, Ashton Kutcher, Tom & Lisa Bilyeu, the daytime talk show “The Real,” and Lou Williams of the LA Clippers. Not confined to the realm of music, ZupaNova has also appeared on the catwalk, performing at the “Fashion 4 A Cause” runway fashion show in Los Angeles, California.
