604Blizzy Makes His Mark with Diljit Dosanjh on “Gunda”

By: Sams Hills

604Blizzy has been putting in work for years, building something real on the West Coast. The rapper and creative from British Columbia has carved his own lane by blending Punjabi roots with Western sounds, connecting both worlds. His latest move, a feature on Diljit Dosanjh’s new album AURA, shows how far that sound has come.

The Collaboration

“Gunda” is more than just another track. It is a moment. The song is part of Diljit’s ten-track album AURA, which dropped on October 15, 2025. Blizzy brings a confident verse that gives the record a new kind of energy.

Diljit delivers his trademark emotion while Blizzy adds grit and attitude. The mix works. It feels natural, like two artists who understand each other’s worlds. Nothing about it sounds forced.

About the Album

AURA includes production from MixSingh, Intense, Preet Hundal, Avvy Syra, and Offgrid. The album features songs such as “Kufar” with Manushi Chhillar, “Charmer,” “God Bless,” and “Mahiya.”

The project ties into Diljit’s Aura Tour 2025, which highlights Punjabi music’s growing influence worldwide. “Gunda” stands out because of how it combines strength with melody. It represents a point where Punjabi music meets global hip hop in a way that feels real and grounded. “Gunda” is more than a song. It is proof of what happens when artists connect across cultures and create something honest.

604Blizzy’s Moment

For 604Blizzy, being part of AURA means more than a feature credit. It marks a turning point. He has spent years building a sound that connects cultures and tells his story. Working with one of the prominent Punjabi artists in the world is a full-circle moment.

“I have always believed our sound could reach anywhere,” Blizzy says. “Being part of this album means a lot to me. It is more than music. It shows that you can build something from your city and have the world hear it.”

His verse on “Gunda” adds to his legacy as one of the most original voices in Canada’s rap scene. It shows how far authenticity can take you when you stay true to your path.

He’s taken that energy on the road too,  performing in Chicago, Seattle, and Vancouver, sharing stages with names like Payroll Giovanni and Cash Kidd. Beyond performing, he’s also been traveling across Canada and the U.S., shooting visuals, building connections, and expanding his vision with every project. Each city adds something to its perspective, a different rhythm, a different piece of the puzzle.

What’s Next

604Blizzy is focused on growth. As he continues releasing music that reflects on his story and his city, he’s also working on something bigger than his own career, The Blizzard Foundation, a nonprofit organization dedicated to uplifting young artists and giving back to the community that raised him. Through the foundation, he aims to create a platform for emerging talent to showcase their creativity. By supporting local youth and fostering an environment of mentorship, 604Blizzy is ensuring that his success helps shape the future of the next generation of artists.

“Beyond music, my dream is to start the Blizzard Foundation, which will be a way to give back to the community and to causes that mean something personal to me. My purpose is to use my success to provide others with the resources, guidance, and opportunities they need to move forward in their careers and in life.”

What he’s building isn’t a label or something for profit; it’s a lifeline, a mentorship hub, and a space where creativity meets real support. The Blizzard Foundation represents who 604Blizzy is at his core, someone determined to lift others as he rises, committed to creating opportunities he never had, and driven by genuine care for the next generation. His vision extends beyond the music industry, aiming to provide resources and guidance to young people across various creative fields. Through his foundation, he hopes to inspire a sense of community and belonging that empowers individuals to chase their dreams with confidence.
