The two had been on and off for the past two months, but a source confirmed that no third party was involved in the split. Lavigne was recently seen hugging rapper Tyga, sparking dating rumors, but a source told PEOPLE that they are just friends.

Public Relationships, Mystery Breakups

In the world of entertainment, breakups are all too common. But for these couples, the reasons behind their splits remain a mystery. Fans will undoubtedly continue to speculate, but for now, all we can do is wish them the best as they move forward.

Breaking Stereotypes with Lawyer Bill Moore, Injecting Humor and Creativity into the Courtroom

Lawyers are often associated with dry and boring work, but the truth is that there is much more to the legal profession than meets the eye. As an artist, you might be surprised to learn that many lawyers possess a creative side that goes beyond drafting legal documents and arguing in court.

In fact, some of the most successful lawyers have leveraged their artistic skills to excel in their field. For example, lawyers who specialize in intellectual property law often work with creative professionals like musicians, writers, and designers to protect their work and ensure that they receive fair compensation.

In addition, many lawyers are skilled writers, able to craft compelling legal briefs and arguments that require both logical thinking and creative language. They may also use visual aids like diagrams and illustrations to make complex legal concepts more accessible to clients and judges alike.

And let’s not forget about the many lawyers who have made a name for themselves in popular culture. From Atticus Finch in “To Kill a Mockingbird” to Elle Woods in “Legally Blonde,” fictional lawyers have captured the imaginations of audiences around the world. And in real life, legal professionals like Ruth Bader Ginsburg have become cultural icons in their own right, inspiring generations of young people to pursue careers in law.

So if you’re an artist curious about the legal profession, don’t be deterred by stereotypes of dry and boring work. Lawyers can be creative, innovative, and even inspiring. Who knows – you may even find some artistic inspiration in the law.

However, the idea of incorporating humor and laughter into art is not often embraced, as it is often perceived as lacking the necessary gravitas and depth. But Bill Moore is challenging these conventional notions by bringing his own distinct brand of humor to his artistic creations.

Bill Moore is the mastermind behind Non-Equity Partner, an online brand that has gained massive popularity among young lawyers and white-collar professionals. He made his entry into the influencer marketing scene in 2019 with an Instagram account, which has since grown to a massive following of 160,000 followers.

While working as a lawyer, Bill realized that something was missing in his life. He was driven to inspire and motivate young lawyers to take charge of their careers and inject new life into an industry that has become stagnant over time. His objective is to empower aspiring lawyers to add a sense of excitement and creativity to the legal profession. “I want to inspire and empower young lawyers to take control of their careers and bring a new energy to the legal industry,” he stated.

Bill’s approach to humor and laughter has challenged the traditional image of lawyers as being stoic and lacking in humor. He has proven that it is possible to be a successful and respected lawyer while also being a social media influencer, renowned for his wit and sarcasm. His followers are drawn to his unique perspective on life and the law, and his humorous approach has made him a hit among young professionals.

The younger generation is highly connected to technology and the internet, and their tastes in art may be different from previous generations. While traditional forms of art such as painting and sculpture may not hold the same appeal, memes have become a massive cultural phenomenon, attracting the same level of attention as a newly discovered Van Gogh painting would have in the past. As society continues to evolve and redefine its understanding of what art is and what it means, it is possible that memes like those created by Bill Moore will one day be regarded as a legitimate form of art in their own right.

While it doesn’t seem the younger generation is necessarily reading the newspaper, they consume the internet at an alarmingly fast rate. Comics in newspapers may be a dying art but meme’s appear to be similar to the comics of older days.

Bill’s approach has been undeniably effective as Non-Equity Partner has been a guaranteed crowd drawer. It only goes to show that consumers respond to strategies they can easily relate to, especially when it concerns law practice. Non-Equity Partner is dubbed as the modern-day “Dilbert.” Scott Adams is the author and illustrator of Dilbert, a popular American comic strip that made its debut on April 16, 1989. Dilbert is renowned for its witty satire and comical commentary on the mundane aspects of office life, particularly within a white-collar, micromanaged work environment. The strip’s protagonist is an engineer named Dilbert, who serves as the emblematic figure of the series. While he isn’t writing comics, his memes can be seen as a sort of “new comic” for the younger generations. With over 60% of all memes shared are political in nature, Moore seems to fit right in, making a joke of lawyers. Humor seems to be a universal language to all. A well-crafted joke is something that appears to be universally appreciated, like a good piece of art.

You may never see memes in a newspaper like you did with comics, however, with the internet being the new way to get the latest up-to-date information, Moore hopes one day to be seen as good as the comics.

An Unexpected Friendship: Serendipitous Encounter Leads to Joy-filled Adventures

By Michelle Burke and Lilamani de Silva

Coauthors of 15 Minute Pause, A Radical Reboot for Busy People and the Joy Cards

“To the world you may be one person, but to one person you may be the world”.

–Dr. Seuss

Have you ever had an instant connection with someone who you knew would be a lifelong friend? That’s us. From the minute we met, we were laughing out loud with tears rolling down our cheeks. Who would have thought two women from drastically different countries would ever meet in the first place much less become instant friends. You’re probably wondering by now; how did we meet? Well, serendipity played a big part – we were both in Seattle, Washington and met while working on very different projects, Michelle was delivering a keynote for Microsoft’s worldwide conference and Lilamani was filming a documentary for Discovery Channel.

In a short amount of time, we covered a lot of ground because Lilamani was flying home to London. Over the next few days, we met for coffee, wine and non-stop conversations that took us on quite a journey. We chatted about being single, traveling abroad, projects we worked on to our upbringing and were surprised to find out we had much in common. Even though Lilamani grew up in Sri Lanka and New Zealand and Michelle in Northern California, we found we came from small towns and moved around. The various moves instilled a sense of curiosity and resilience that helped us to adapt and assimilate to new environments. We found that we got through the downs by looking at the upside. We also learned to be proactive to make new friends even though it was uncomfortable at times. Most interestingly, we learned that both of our fathers inspired us to pursue what we loved, which has kept us on our path even to this day.

Unexpected Friendship

Imagine spending countless hours, bordering on the 1000’s talking with your best friend…well that’s what we did. We wanted to keep our friendship alive despite the long distance, so we made an investment in calling cards back in the day to stay in touch. As the years passed new technology gave us the opportunity to see each other while chatting. We thought we’d entered a Jetson’s tv episode – it was so futuristic. We loved it because we could share more, take tours around our homes, ask for advice on outfits or have meals together. During our many conversations, we found we had a similar joyful outlook on life and a passion to make a difference in the world, changing the trajectory of our friendship into a creative partnership as well. We love bouncing ideas off one another and much like popcorn, there is always a kernel worth pursuing further. In fact, we stumbled into one during the pandemic – our Joy Cards. Life was chaotic, uncertain and very stressful like it was for most people. Michelle was recovering from a bad case of Covid while Lilamani was a caregiver to her ill father. We wanted to do something initially to help ease our anxiety because our stress levels were increasing. So, we agreed to do one thing that brought us joy every day for a week. To encourage each other, we sent one another text reminders as a way to keep going. When the joy activity worked, we noticed that our mood lifted, we were laughing more and felt energized. This kickstarted our inspiration for designing the activity cards. As we continued, we needed to know if it made us feel joyful and if it would lessen our worries. We found many helped us to get through the difficult days with more ease. Of course, some ideas didn’t work and yet, we kept on with it. At this critical time when stress was high and energy low, we realized how important it was to keep our joy tank full. Our intent was to focus on something positive and find a way to help others. Who would have thought that our search to find joy is now motivating so many to get their joy back too? Because of this, we are on a mission to spread joy.

Looking back, we’d say we were brought together to do something we couldn’t have done on our own. Even though it wasn’t always smooth sailing, we learned throughout the years that life is messy and we are not perfect. We still have our share of disagreements, yet, now we are better at resolving them quicker and with compassion and patience. We’ve learned that being right isn’t worth the friendship and have realized that saying sorry is a strength not a weakness. Finding our voices through our conversations have also helped us to compromise and be forgiving not days later but within minutes.

It’s easy to be there for a friend when life is easy, fun or calm. However, when the worst comes, that’s when the friendship is tested. After all, it takes time, effort and love to listen and show up. Over the twenty-plus years, we’ve been there, through the good, bad and downright painful, like when Michelle was devastated after losing her Dad unexpectedly or when she was terrified at the thought of losing her vocal chords from a complicated thyroidectomy. After a serious breakup, Lilamani made the life decision to divide her time between London and New Zealand to spend more time with family or the need for her to take whatever side job was available to pay the bills to pursue her true passion. In these moments, we listened and recognized that although these times were dark they were the building blocks that deepened our friendship.

Like most relationships, there are many twists and turns and yet it is the ups that have sustained our relationship. We’ve shared lots of laughs and adventures. In fact, we both love water so no matter where we are or how cold, we will jump into the sea, ocean, lake or pool; who knows, maybe we were mermaids in a former life? We’ve traveled and tested our games across the globe with lots of funny moments. One was this yummy Crepe place where the whole restaurant joined in, and before we knew it everyone was laughing. Or, when we stayed in the space-saving Parisian Hotel and we laughed ourselves silly when we got stuck in their tiny lift that could barely fit us, much less our luggage. It took some serious maneuvering to get out of it, and unfortunately, losing weight was out of the question. These are the times that we cherish and often recount and every time we do, we laugh as if it were happening all over again. These memories are treasured. Ultimately, we continue to learn that friends are a witness to who we really are, warts and all, and we can accept one another without judgment. We don’t take our friendship for granted, rather we know the value one person can bring to our lives….

  • One person who listens.
  • One person who empathizes.
  • One person who asks questions.
  • One person who genuinely cares about our well-being.
  • One person who makes us feel safe to be who we are flaws and all and gives us the courage to be authentic.

This type of friendship is priceless. And, what we call a true friend.

At the end of the day, both of us inspire each other to become better humans. We push each other to do our best and we are always there when the other is in need. A friend is indeed a precious gem. Who could have predicted all those years ago while working in Seattle Washington, a chance encounter would turn into a joy-filled life-long friendship?

The Artistic Journey of Elaine Robeson Malco

The hustle of today’s world has left everyone with no clue about entertainment. Back when the world lacked technology and advancements, people were fond of visiting art galleries as art is considered a source of refreshment for the mind.

Artists refer to paintings as a way to express emotions, ideas, and creativity. Painters possess the ability to reshape any object into something so beautiful that people would automatically find themselves attracted to it. The world of art is all about sculptures, paintings, sceneries, and nature.

Painting is a creative display of objects on a piece of paper, while sculpture is a part of visual arts that can be seen in three dimensions. Being a sculptor requires an exceptional vision. Many artists prefer to use clay, wood, plaster, or stone to carve these three-dimensional art objects. Art lovers admire the work of sculptors exceptionally.

As the world modernized, the art of sculptors is now no longer restricted by traditional sculptural concepts, methods of production, and materials. It no longer remains static and can also be kinetic and capable of movement. It can also be projected, assembled, or constructed in a wide variety of ways rather than just being carved. Thus, the art industry has witnessed a great revolution in the past few years.

Elaine Robeson Malco, a painter, sculptor, and art teacher, has proved that the art industry is definitely in its most advanced era. The great mind was born on June 2, 1916, in California. Her efforts for art have enabled her to encourage many women to pursue Arts as a field.

Malco graduated from the Otis Art Institute in 1938, where she studied under several masters of art like Donna Schuster, Paul Connor, Paul Lauritz, Henry Richter, and Ralph Holmes. Her passion for art began at a very early stage of her life. Anna Hills and Paul Lauritz have always been her huge inspirations and role models. She wanted her work to become exemplary in the art world. Even after graduating from Otis Art Institute, she continued taking classes from Henry Richter, Paul Connor, and Paul Lauritz for many years. Her sculpting skills got refined over these years, and her work received a Freddy award for best Sculpting.

Once she realized that men have dominated the industry to which she devoted all her efforts, she tried her best to encourage women to pursue this career. In 1954, Malco was successful enough that she founded the Long Beach California National League of America Pen Women.

Later, she became the art chairman of the Pacific Coast Club from 1956 to 1971, where she exhibited great pieces of her inspiring art. She enjoyed learning new and unique styles of painting, and she traveled to different countries to learn their ways of painting and art. In a show called Shadow Mountain Club, she displayed her beautiful art piece made in the Sumi painting style, which she learned during her trip to Japan.

Malco’s love for art has made her win awards for her services, like Ronzone Medal and CAC Gold Medal. She was also featured in the book Who’s Who because of her Art achievements. The end of her journey was on March 28, 1985. But her impeccable values are still admired by many artists and art lovers.

Future Legend Records 30th Anniversary

Music business legend Tony Wilson of Factory Records once said Future Legend Records was the definitive blueprint to be a successful indie label, we had the credibility and longevity and creativity all rolled into one and most of our rivals are long gone. 30 years is a long time, FLR have even seen off and been around longer than some major labels.
Not being mainstream means they often go under the radar but over 1 million people have releases residing in their homes, so  a documentary about the label is long overdue.

FLR have set music trends such as the cult themes and invented new music genres like Ska Surf, Pop Noir & Electronic Espionage. They helped break many new artists and have several cult artists on the label, a few of who have previously hit the number-one spot worldwide. Many releases have also become very collectable. Although FLR features individual artists many of our compilations such as Femme Fatales of Music championing female artists, Three Button Legacy (Mod & Britpop tunes) & The Themes Bond James Bond (The Alternative Bond Themes) have captured many people’s imaginations and proved popular. Even the legendary John Barry said three of the Bond covers were better than the originals and other famous fans included David Bowie, Madonna & Brian Wilson.
The main producer of the label’s output and label owner Russell C. Brennan was called an indie production God by the national newspaper The Independent and he was nominated for Record producer of the year and recently featured on the cover of Songwriter International magazine. He is also a highly rated photographer/artist, with Saatchi Art calling him an Artist of Recognition and he has had many exhibitions. So quite naturally he is also responsible for many of the stand-out music sleeves on the label that adds to the quality of the releases. He is also the editor of an influential cultural magazine that has been featured in the V & A museum in London about youth culture and was recently relaunched to become a lockdown success in traditional paper format. So Russell is in the shadows as a major influencer in many arts.

Future Legend Records made its name by doing new versions of cult TV & film themes to help break new artists. Russell was into cult themes for a long time and knew a big audience would buy new versions of the themes, not just the originals but he knew just the right track listings that would work. Because it’s always hard getting people into new music people would discover new artists through a cult theme cover and that’s just what happened. BBC’s Mark Radcliffe was quick to play them on his show and Mark Lammar had one as his show’s theme and You Only Live Twice by Eleanor Rigby on Themes from the 60s Vol.1 hit number one in Italy. Clubs nights sprung up around the UK playing the themes with fashion also getting an outing with people dressing up as their favourite 60s themes characters.

Russell had made his name writing and producing his ex-wife Eleanor Rigby previously and she had become a huge cult figure who disappeared at the height of her popularity. (she has one of the most interesting stories in Pop music’ A ‘Best of’ release played at the famous Blow-Up club was even termed Britpop just prior to Britpop taking off and Blur, Oasis, Sleeper, Pulp and many others said they were influenced by her and Shirley Manson of Garbage said she was a major influence on her becoming a singer in a rock band. She even influenced a young Kate Moss who went on to be Britains top model Russell’s  own innovative band Box Office Poison, doing the new music of Pop Noir shared management with David Bowie (where he became a bit of a mentor) and Billboard Magazine editor said they were the best new music band to come out of England in ages. Madonna was a fan of the band’s single Mysteries and wanted to sign the band to her new label Maverick. Years later legendary Beach Boy Brian Wilson said the production on the labels Cult Themes and Box Office Poison was amongst the most innovative he had heard in years and put Russell on the celebrity guest list of his first solo Uk concerts at the Festival Hall. Russell was also in a Ska band that the media called ‘One step beyond all the soundalikes’ and pioneered Ska Surf music. Seven cult themes albums were released over the years which involved keeping things fresh starting with breaking new talent to getting former number one hit acts out of retirement to do a theme (The Honeycombs being one example who previously sold over 20 million copies of Have the Right, No.1 hit single worldwide)

He then added a new twist by discovering older acts who hadn’t quite fulfilled their potential to give them one last shot at achieving it, one such act being Glenda Collins. One story sums up Russell’s unique attitude to helping others’ dreams come true. 60s singer & songwriter Tony Grinham’s big chance came when legendary producer Joe Meek signed him up. A backing track was done for his song The Long Drop but the day he was due to go back and do the vocal Joe had killed himself so Tony’s big chance went up in flames, however, he managed to keep Joes backing track and 50 years later played it to big Joe Meek fan and cult producer Russell C. Brennan who was also trying to help a former popular Joe Meek Artists Glenda Collins by producing some comeback material for her via the last ever Cult Themes album and The Long Drop seemed too good an opportunity to pass up. Russell would get to co-produce with his idol Joe from beyond the grave, Tony would finally get his song released and Glenda would get her comeback single. This relaunched Glenda to new fans and won back many older ones but then she encountered mental problems and was put in a home. They contacted Russell to could see if he could help and he totally transformed her mental state from being looking towards her demise to being the happiest she had ever been by him devising an album project called ‘Second Chance’ that eventually came out at the end of 2022. The care home said it was an amazing feat.

FLR’s journey has been full of inspirational stories and achievements whilst operating on a shoestring budget and to still be in business 30 years later is some achievement and one worth a documentary and some column inches.

Vlad Buryanov – An Emerging Social Media Sensation

Since the inception of the World Wide Web in 1991, like-minded users have congregated, first on web forums and bulletin boards, then on blogging platforms, and most recently on social media. Canny marketers approached influential bloggers and forum moderators in the early 2000s, asking them to promote products in exchange for freebies, and later for cash. This process was accelerated by the establishment of YouTube in 2005, Twitter in 2006, and Instagram in 2010 – the platforms of choice for the majority of influencers. Today, there is an army of influencers: social media users, with a large, devoted following who share a carefully curated version of their lives with their followers.

Social media allows you to reach billions of people with a single post. It’s brimming with opportunities for business expansion. To thrive on social networks, you must be creative, and diligent, and bring out your best people skills. Social media influencers have grown in popularity just as digital media platforms have grown in popularity in recent years. These influencers, who usually have large followings on platforms like YouTube, Instagram, and Snapchat, frequently use these platforms to promote products or brands.

YouTube is home to a plethora of unique and fascinating channels. Whatever a viewer is interested in, he or she will be able to find a niche channel that celebrates a similar interest. The beauty of YouTube is that niche channels can grow and reach the same number of people as general interest channels. One such channel is Vlad SlickBartender.

Vladymyr Buryanov, better known as Vlad SlickBartender, is a Ukrainian-American YouTube star, digital content producer, social media influencer, bartender, and online celebrity known for posting videos about bartending product reviews, and other topics on his YouTube channel.

Born on June 22, 1982, Vlad was raised in Ukraine before moving to the United States after becoming a world champion flair bartender. He created the Las Vegas Flair academy before moving on to open the European Bartender Schools in Las Vegas and Miami.

In 2015, while operating his school, he began uploading videos to his Vlad SlickBartender YouTube channel. The vast majority of these videos were created with the intention of assisting in the advancement of bartenders with less experience. Between 2015 and the beginning of 2020, he amassed a sizable following of around 160,000 subscribers, with a few hundred thousand views per week.

The first Vlad video, titled “Most Popular Working Flair Move with One Bottle,” was uploaded on YouTube on March 29, 2015. His first 100k views came from his debut video, which made him believe that he possesses all the qualities of a refined content creator. In addition, “10 easy working Flair techniques that anyone can master in 60 minutes” was the first video on his channel to go viral and receive over 500k views. As of now, he has numerous viral videos and his channel has accumulated more than 1.5 billion views. Majority of his YouTube videos have received one million views each, and his channel continues to grow with every new video he uploads.

According to Buryanov, it was the time of the pandemic when the number of people tuning in to his channel skyrocketed. Because everyone was stuck inside and Buryanov was sure a lot of them will go on YouTube to look up drink recipes to try at home. The larger following assisted him in landing endorsement deals with several companies. This made him wonder if it was even possible to make a living out of YouTube. Several people suggested him to start posting on TikTok as well during the pandemic and this was what Buryanov did to uplift his popularity.

Buryanov assisted his followers by stating that he firmly believes they should always be open to new opportunities and ideas to ensure that their channel not only continues to grow but also thrives with time. Now that his primary channel has grown to such an extent, and he is on the verge of reaching one million subscribers, Buryanov is motivated to work even harder on his other channels. Furthermore, he wants to try everything that he can to give back to the community and encourage other content creators to keep working hard.
