From Flight Attendant to Music, Autumnlilly Strives to Use Her Platform and Shed Light on Global Issues

Life is filled with many adversities, but the person facing them often determines how they get affected. Others get overwhelmed and fall into pits of self-destruction and harmful cycles that go on for the rest of their lives while some people muster the courage to break free and start anew. Lilly Phiri is among the exceptional to fall into the latter category, creating a new career under the stage name Autumnlilly.

Growing up, Autumnlilly had faced many trials and tribulations that would have left anyone else with a permanent bad day. But for the rising artist, music had been one of the safest outlets that allowed her to escape the harshness of reality. As a child, she would sing along with her favorite tunes that came on the radio, setting up the foundations for her passion for performing. Despite life bombarding her with one challenge after another, Autumnlilly never wavered, and she realized she was special. “I never allowed my reality to get the better of me,” the artist shared proudly.

Although she had a deep love for music, Autumnlilly’s career started in the most unexpected position. She held a stable job as a flight attendant, soaring the skies for seven years before deciding it was time to pursue her greatest love. Since shifting her career, Autumnlilly has been brewing on the backdrop of vocal art performance training in music.

As an artist, Autumnlilly is trained in the vocal arts of opera. She strives to tell stories through her music, shedding light on social issues and global situations that the world is dealing with. The artist on the rise draws inspiration from musicians like the late Brenda Fassie, Wizkid, and Black Coffee. Autumnlilly utilizes the Afro-Soul and Jazz genres to help push her stories forward. She is always open to making collaborations because she believes in the diversity and beauty of good music.

Autumnlilly’s approach to music can be traced back to the trials and tribulations she’s had to overcome through the years, using the life lessons she learned as catalysts to launch her music career forward. With nearly a decade of flight attendant experience under her belt, the artist was also able to absorb many stories, using her platform to shed light on the injustice and struggles that thousands endure daily. “I like to tell stories through my music,” said Autumnlilly.

“For instance, South Africa is currently at the epicenter of gender-based violence,” the artist elaborated. “My song ‘Hamba Juba’ highlights those issues but also speaks about the inherent strength that women and men in abusive relationships have and that it’s also better to walk away. Hence the South African proverb ‘Hamba Juba,’ meaning ‘Go/fly bird.’

SA is currently commemorating 16days of activism, an annual awareness campaign about gender-based violence and abuse against children.

With her career still full of promise Autumnlilly is optimistic about how her brand will grow through the years and is, in fact, currently working on a skincare range of products and hopes to expand into a clothing and cologne brand. Some have suggested she also gives a go at being an author; after all, hers is a story worth telling.” I’m also just trying to figure it out, “she said jokingly.

Additionally, Autumnlilly hopes to involve herself with the United Nations with the goal of making a difference to the youth in the world.Get the latest updates on Autumnlilly’s music by following her on Instagram and Facebook and subscribing to her YouTube channel.

Apollo Gold Continues Historic Run as He Pursues Music Greatness

Anyone who puts heart, soul, mind, and strength into a craft is sure to give people around them a sense of joy and wonder through their craft. And Apollo Gold’s track record in the music industry has been a testament to that, as the so-called “God of Music” continues to bring top-level music and content to followers worldwide through this uncanny brand of music.

Apollo Gold is a fast emerging artist who has been making a strong case for music greatness over the past few months. He started creating music for the public not too long ago but has already introduced a whole lineup of tracks that continue to wow listeners from various walks of life. On October 22, 2021, the musical artist put out his first-ever full-length album entitled Nighttime Blues. Apollo’s debut record has performed stellarly with seven tracks and some heavy-hitting collaborators.

The album’s success comes from Apollo’s commitment to creating an inspiring experience for his listeners. “This album is a way of capturing a time and stage of life through a soundscape that will live on forever,” Apollo Gold shares. Today, he hopes that his early performance will become a strong indicator of a possible full-time career in music. The artist’s mid-term goal is to turn music into more than a side hustle and make it his profession and life’s work.

But what draws Apollo to this love of his craft isn’t the money or fame. Instead, it’s the chance to inspire people and draw them together in the context of communities drawn together by a shared love for great music. Gold’s music brings together the best of various genres, including Cloud Rap, Psychedelic Rock, Punk, Grunge, and Smooth Jazz. Apollo attributes much of his musical discovery to a colorful upbringing. The artist was born on August 3, 2000, in Buenos Aires, Argentina, and later moved to New York City with his family. However, it wasn’t until he moved to Miami, Florida when he discovered his unquenchable love for music.

Apollo began his music journey by soaking in as much Michael Jackson and A$AP Rocky tracks as he could. Later, he started looking up to underground rap artists in the local scene, including Denzel Curry, Ski Mask the SlumpGod, and XXXTentaction. This exposure to global and backyard talent would help him refine his music and further his drive to create great music. Next, he started working as a professional DJ, which helped build a solid initial foundation in the Miami music scene. Later, Apollo started to invest in home recording equipment and started to create music on his own. He invested in studio equipment every time he could and started building his own home studio.

That’s when Apollo Gold started releasing singles like “LV” and “Underworld.” Today, he has more songs in the pipeline, including “Dennis Rodman,” “007,” “Flames Off Rip,” and many more.

Another strong passion of Apollo’s is creating catchy digital content. He especially enjoys creating music videos and traveling and brings those two passions together through a series of music videos created from his journeys through other cities. Apollo also has music videos from his trips to Las Vegas, Brooklyn, Chicago, and Cancun, which he hopes to launch at the end of this year.

Hip Hop Indie Music Gives Emerging Independent Artists the Mileage They Need to Jump-Start Their Careers

Getting noticed in the highly competitive hip-hop industry is an uphill journey for most independent artists who do not have the support and resources of big label companies. This is a reality of multiple gifted artists then and now who do not have the financial means to launch their music on powerful platforms. Hip Hop Indie Music is attempting to change this plight for all independent music artists who dream of sharing their music with the rest of the world through its online platform. Giving all artists an equal opportunity to be noticed and known for their artistry is a good start.

The platform was established in 2017 by three friends, Paul Mauricette, Cordaryll Monroe, and Joshua Emmanuel. All three have a deep passion for music and an innate desire to make a lasting difference in the music industry in order to make room for all kinds of artists from different walks of life. They agreed to create a website that would commit to being community-friendly. They also chose to do it in a blog format, giving their audiences helpful updates about the latest events, artists, and songs happening in the hip-hop and R&B worlds. Finally, there was an effective and quick way for independent artists to get noticed and share their songs at the same time.

Hip Hop Indie Music is a haven for some of the country’s emerging and most promising artists of this generation. It showcases vast talents, both men and women, of different ages. From singles to mixtapes, videos, and EPs, the platform is overflowing with genuine and extraordinary talents.

Another unique attribute of the company, aside from looking after the welfare of artists in the platform, is its commitment to give back to the community whenever they can. The team sends basic items to Haiti to help in impacting the lives of so many underprivileged individuals, including food, clothes, bikes, and toys for children.

Hip Hop Indie Music is a platform that hopes to unite like-minded individuals towards a common goal – to have access to original music creations. It is for everyone who loves music and understands the pains the artists go through to write, produce, and release their songs. While hip-hop is one of the most popular genres today, it can also be the most frustrating experience for a new artist who has no idea how to navigate around the competitive industry.

Knowing the many new artists mostly start from scratch, the team is always open to working around an artist’s budget. “We know how hard it is to be in the music industry with low funds. So we try to work with everyone as much as we can. We care more about making a difference for the youth, and we want to show the youth that they can overcome everything,” the management explained.

The company is also very active on social media, specifically Instagram, where they give their artists additional exposure. The social media team of Hip Hop Indie Music publishes artists’ song covers, album covers, music videos, songs, and even teasers of their upcoming projects. Thanks to its passion and openness to help independent artists, more young singers and rappers can be encouraged to pursue their dreams and share their gifts with the rest of the world.

DJ Chris Angel on Abandoning Childhood to Pursue a Career in the Music Industry

The music industry is one of the most difficult to break into, with aspiring artists emerging every day, each one vying to break out into the mainstream. While talent can be a deciding factor, having money, connections, or both can raise the odds in one’s favor. But not everyone has the resources to take the easy way into such a career. DJ Chris Angel is an individual who has been on the rise since 2018, and he has been able to build an illustrious career through hard work and determination.

Before coming out as DJ Chris Angel, Christian Younan was one of the hardest-working individuals among his peers. Even at a young age, Chris was known for choosing responsibility over childhood, finding a job at 14 watering plants for a coffee shop. Whereas most teenagers would stress about grades, dates, and what to do on a Friday night, the would-be DJ balanced school between two jobs, dividing his time to work at a fast-food joint and selling CDs in a music store.

“I can say I didn’t have a normal upbringing,” shared Chris. “I knew something had to change.”

Working at the music store, Chris was surrounded by various artists who thrived in different genres. His time there would mold his dream, inspiring him to actively pursue a career as a musician. However, voice alone would not be enough to help him achieve his goal, and Chris knew that he needed to get the right tools to get himself started. Every time he got his salary, Chris would pocket what he could to save for the equipment he needed, and while the job helped him earn enough rocks, it wouldn’t be enough to get what he needed.

Enlisting in the army, Chris did everything he could to survive and hold on to his dream. However, it didn’t pan out, and he would leave the military when he decided it was time to get started. After leaving the army, Chris was able to get the things he needed, but another setback prevented him from making an impact on his debut.

“Social anxiety started to kick in,” he explained. Depression would get the better of him too, affecting his performance in front of the audience. “It ruined my ability to be in large crowds of people, which affected my music performance.”

The overwhelming feeling would have forced anyone to tap out, but Chris was determined to stay strong, believing it would have been such a waste to throw away something he had worked so hard for years. So when he finally overcame his anxiety, DJ Chris Angel thrived.

Taking inspiration from artists that surrounded him in his early days, the young DJ created a diverse style that leaves his listeners guessing. Since performing professionally, Chris created a colorful discography that electronic and bass fans could enjoy.

In the years since he came out on his own, DJ Chris Angel was able to go further than he dreamed of. However, he is still working towards reaching new heights and has set a new goal in his career. “I see myself working with other artists I looked up to,” he elaborated. Regardless, DJ Chris Angel hopes to continue producing music to empower people and show them that anything is possible.Learn more about DJ Chris Angel by following him on Instagram.

Joe Perk on Releasing New Single and Giving Back to the Community

New York City is a hub of culture and creativity. As a result, this city has provided the backdrop for many artists’ origin stories. Brooklyn native Joe Perk is one of the newest artists inspired by his hometown, bringing fantastic hip hop, pop, and R&B songs to his avid fans. He is set to release his next single, “Summer Walker,” later this month.

Joe Perk, born Joseph Perkins, grew up in Brooklyn, New York. His environment and the people around him shaped the person and the artist he became. “Growing up in the mean streets of Brooklyn helped me navigate difficult waters,” he explained, “And being a New Yorker helped me hold my own as I swam alongside the big sharks in the game.” Even when he was a child, Joe pictured himself becoming a rapper and entertainer when he grew up. And while he cultivated his passion for music and performing, things did not go exactly as planned.

With his parents struggling to provide for their family, Joe Perk decided to take on two jobs at two different fast food establishments to help his parents make ends meet. Then in 2012, Joe joined the military. But even as his music took a backseat, he still found the time to express his creativity. While serving in the military, Joe built a name for himself as a rapper of great skill. His talent landed him a gig opening for the artist A Boogie wit da Hoodie. Joe has also opened for other artists such as MIGOS, Blac Youngsta, and Lil Uzi Vert.

On November 21, Joe Perk will release his next single titled, “Summer Walker.” Since it has been a year since Joe released any new music, he and his fans are excited about this upcoming track. The artist shared, “This song is pretty special to me. And I am also releasing the single on my mom’s birthday as kind of a tribute to her.”

Presenting a fresh hip hop and R&B sound, Joe Perk has enthralled listeners with his music. “People say they love the vibe in my songs. They have often told me how my music encourages them to live life to the fullest and do the things they love,” Joe explained, “And I am glad they feel that way. Because I want to inspire and teach kids how to achieve financial freedom through doing something they love.”

Music is not the only thing keeping Joe Perk busy. Later this month, he is spearheading a turkey drive. He said, “On November 24, I will be giving away 100 turkeys to the community of Greenville, North Carolina.” He is also currently conducting a toy drive in collaboration with Unjaded Hearts. With this initiative, they aim to give toys to children for Christmas.

On the motivation behind his charitable work, Joe Perk explained, “I remember when my parents couldn’t give my siblings and me the things we wanted. There was also a time when I lived in my car. I have experienced having nothing, and now that I am in a better place in life, I want to share some of the blessings I received.” The artist shared that he works hard at his music so he can keep growing and keep giving back to his community.

Like any new musician, Joe Perk dreams of making it big and getting into major awards shows. Aside from revitalizing the R&B and hip hop scene, Joe wants to be in a position to help other artists develop their careers. “In the future, I see myself expanding into the executive side of things. I want to elevate artists and give them the best opportunities to grow.”

A dedicated artist and a generous member of his community, Joe Perk hopes to inspire young people to pursue their passions. “Whatever difficulties they may be going through, I want them to know that it is just part of life. It will all be worth it in the end.”

Joe Perk is a rapper and R&B singer. His newest single, “Summer Walker,” will be out on November 21. For more updates about his music and charitable endeavors, you may visit this website.

Vaccines are well underway, and things are slowly coming back to normal. Schools are coming back, sporting events are returning, and travel is slowly returning to regular programming. Moreover, music and entertainment events are also starting to see the light of day, and 365 Live wanted to make that evident after launching a multi-day music extravaganza in Miami, Florida, to give people a party and music celebration that has been absent on people’s radars for more than a year.

365 Live created a two-day experience that put together some of the biggest names in party and music, including French Montana, MoneyBagg Yo, Est Gee, CJ, Major Nine, Chinese Kitty, Bizzy Crook, and Yung Reece, to name a few. After the concert, 365 Live put together an after-party at Vendome Nightclub, featuring MoneyBagg Yo and Est Gee. Hundreds of people packed the club as the extension event poured well into the night.
